The visual aspect was amazing, however, half the time I didn't know what I was doing really. I really tried cuz the story had me hooked and it looked gorgeous.

In Nebula Noir Chapter - 1 you play a dective that interrogates people in a card combat style and you choose your mode (Honesty, Bribery, Deception) and customize your deck/ playstyle however you want

The game presentation is gorgeous but we really need a tutorial how to play the game, read the data of the board, i had gauges i kinda understood after a while, reading the cards but i dont know if it was bugging, because one of the gauges were not filling visually at least, i dont know what stun does
i hope you return to the game after the jam to polish it, would love to play again after that!!
The idea really got me, and I'm digging it. However a little tutorial would be helpful both in deckbuilding and how to play. I feel I'm still very confused how to get the most out of each NPC. I would love to play to the finish. I like the ambience a lot.
This is a cool consept. I was able to spam any card and finished the game so there is a bug somewhere. When its more stable i would love to play it again , great job!
The presentation and visual / audio polish is immaculate. A tutorial would have gone a long way, I enjoy deck builders and games with more complicated mechanics, but I had no idea what to do and just started playing random cards. I'll definitely come back afterwards when there is more tutorial to help understand how to play.
Fun card game with an impressive aesthetic and great UI. I really liked shuffling my notes around. The music was pleasant to listen to for the game's duration. The gameplay was fun and addicting, and the constant progression of card drops made it fun to play until the end. Good job!

Interesting idea of combining interrogation with a deck builder. Impressive presentation too! Not sure if I was playing optimally but I managed to get through the entire game easily.

I was really impressed with the visuals and voice acting! It did take a few minutes to figure it out, but once I understood what was going on it was fun! Definitely helped getting hints on the map telling me how to adjust the deck for a specific character. Saw below you said you'll keep working on it after the voting is complete, glad to hear it!
Well-polished visuals, I like the way the game looks/sounds! Would've liked more to teach me how to play because I was a bit confused but eventually figured it out :p I enjoy deckbuilding/card games so I hope you continue with this and flesh out the gameplay further! Nice job :D
Just my sort of game, a mystery deckbuilder is a great idea but definitely super difficult to execute on. With more balancing and brainstorming the mechanics could be just as interesting as the concept and UI. I found full damage being the only playable deck, I beat everyone pretty swiftly but not sure if I missed out any lore because of it!
Super cool, loved the techno Papers, Please style. A bit tricky at first but after playing an interrogation I got the hang of it. Would be great to see you expand on this, nice work!
This is really cool (and wildly polished visuals, wow!). I love a deck builder. I love the uniqueness of the idea-- sort of a conversation happening alongside the cards.
This one was definitely tricky for me to understand-- I think a tutorial might have been really helpful. It's tough to start out having to build a deck when you don't really understand the mechanics,
This looks and sounds great but I can't figure out how to play the cards, they highlight when I click them but don't do anything, is this a bug or am I just missing something?
- UI is super cool, has a fitting style and feels mega polished. I loved the transition animation between screens.
- The voice acting and story was an extra treat, not too many games can say they voice acted.
- Quality of life polish, the small things like moving the notes around was super handy.
- It may be that I chose too many cards in my deck but during a interrogation they would overlay especially when selected.
- I did struggle a bit to figure out how things worked. I would say a tutorial would've been nice.... but you did say you ran out of time and ironically I'm in the same boat for my game haha.
Overall massive achievement, you should be proud!
Wow. The visuals are stunning and I'm a fan of the voice acting you have. I will add that I had a tough time learning the gameplay and I did run into a few bugs. But overall, really cool and unique concept. Nice work!
I think the UI and core concept are really clever and unique, but admittedly I'm not sure if the deck builder angle for a mystery story works especially well in execution.
Admittedly that might be because I learned I could spam a single card in order to win before I learned the actual rules, but I think the plot might've been more compelling if it had more of an Ace Attorney-style of just having singular conversations which need to be picked apart.
That said, the aesthetic is still fantastic and I might come around on the card game idea if a tutorial and patch for single card spam were to be introduced.
