It was short, but very polished and immersive! The "upgrade" (trying to avoid spoilers) feels appropriately fun.
I love such games, shooting stuff that jumps at you never gets old. Also the length is just perfect for the jam format, I didn't get bored and had a nice bite-size horror/action experience.
I always love to see horror entries in game jams, definitely wanna try making my own one day. Loved the presentation in this one, and the voice acting was a great touch. Just wish the game was a bit more polished. The mech section was awesome too, I love turning the tables on the enemies in horror games towards the end.
thank you so much for having a checkpoint right as you start the bossfight!!! T_T
The Voice acting and general Audio is really clean.
The Tutorial presentation is nice.
Lighting is dope and atmosphere is done well and I like the Pruple Blob Art
Mech controls are well executed as well :)
I loved the atmosphere, it was stressful especially with the lack of health pickups, but when I finally got the vehicle I felt like an invincible badass :D
very cool and scary atmosphere! the game is well polished, the controls and filling - my respect. survival horror is rarely found at jams, a very bold choice of genre. cool!
That was really well done. An awesome short horror game.
The lighting system is really what stands out to me here. Not being able to see those enemies until they were in my face made me jump quite a bit. I really liked that final boss too, was not expecting a playable laser tank.
Good job creating atmosphere with the lighting and sound! I liked how the narrow-lit view encouraged you to move cautiously, constantly turning and scanning for enemies like a soldier would entering a hostile area. Also enjoyed the tone shift from the tense part to the hell yeah section! I did find the rotation to be quite jittery at times possibly from collision against the walls but didn’t detract from the experience too much
super fun! I liked the boss fight and the overall ambience, took me a minute with the wall bc it had so much hp, but was overall well made!
Dude, what an incredible athmosphere. The game had me actually checking corners before entering rooms, making sure nothing would jump at me! It was a little unclear at first that I head to break the yellow barrels to kill the boss, but aside from that this is def a gem!
Cool game, very atmospheric! Voice acting was well done and I really like the addition of the mech suit. Awesome work!
Like a cute dead space. Most of these game jam games are too similar, this game delivers more than most. I hope the Dunkerman plays your game and then says something funny.
really spooky vibes, i liked it a lot! although im pretty sure the boss fight glitched out for me, i couldnt deal any damage to him despite shooting at the blob, his critters, and the green containers
Was not expecting good voice acting in a game jam, and you manage to make the game play and look good all at the same time...
I'm impressed
