Game's Take on the Theme
The moon "spins" around the planet and you spin the moon to switch weapons.

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
No, we created most art and all sfx, but music is premade, and we used a couple art assets.

If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.

Such an unique game! You guys were soo creative on this one. It is nice to have the spinning mechanic not only on orbit, but on yourself to switch weapons and defend yourself. Great work! My only comment is to add an option that don't let players start the game without putting any weapons in (clearly it wasn't me that did this............... sure.....). GREAT WORK!

Super creative and executed great! Customizing is fun, and you could easily do different runs of this game with different playstyles. Amazing job!

I like the customisation, not what i was expecting but it works well, it's satisfying watching the saw roll about and do devastating damage.

good job!

interesting orbital controls

Best pixel art ive seen in this jam so far... selecting the weapons at the start was also a really cool addition. Good Job!

I like the orbital move, the mechanic works nice, and we can use thrust and get to lower or higher orbit, this is so well made, I like how it feels, its hard game but when we understand how it works its fun to play. I rate graphics, fun, control and music on top but all is great really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!

Really cool fun game! I love your use of the theme, and the simple controls. I was able to beat many bosses, laser all the way and dodge the rest, not sure how the heal worked but great job! Congrats on submission. Feel free to try our game if you like!

At first it was difficult and I died many times, but once I understood the importance of shield, I was able to proceed successfully. This is a very unique and fun game.

The game is incredibly fun.

I love the pixelart graphics and the controls are good sensitive. Its true what you said, our games are pretty similar. Good luck.

amazing visuals and great gameplay.

AMAZING one of my top choices to win honestly. Just the right amount of customization/unlocks for a jam game, the right amount of health on the bosses, cool take on the theme, interesting varied bosses. Amazing! Loved it

I think the spinning to activate/use your weapons is an awesome take on the theme and just gameplay mechanics in general. It feels hindered to me by the orbiting and slow spin rate using keyboard buttons though.

It's a pretty great game, the visuals and menu design are unique and really nice. Also the fact that these devs made a library on top of the boss rush mode is superb.

In terms of gameplay, I (a noob) can't figure out how to damage the boss so I haven't been able to complete the game just yet.

Thanks for the kind words! In case you haven't figured it out, you need to select weapons by pressing A/D in the menu, and then point your weapons at the boss. If you have weapons pointed at the boss and they aren't firing, you have a glitch.

A solid project with lots of content and variety. You guys did a great job! It’s tough to get the controls and balance right in games like this, but I think you nailed it!

Really great game, I really like the weapon system and bosses attacks are fun, I ony wish that It would save your progress so you don't need to defeat the same boss again.

Clean design; the game looks really good. The controls seemed kind of unwieldy but I eventually got used to them. The gameplay was still hella fun, as well as experimenting with different builds.

Ignore what everyone else says, melee is busted

Very good concept the space and planets thing, the bosses being different planets is very original looks very good.  At first it felt hard but once you get to learn how to use the controls and how to play it becomes very fun!! The only thing I would point out is that  selecting weapon thing confused me for a little because it said empty before I realized you could choose. Apart from that I can say this game is very fun, great job!

i also had another game use the same controls and i think i would prefer W for moving forward and S for moving backward. the controls were really responsive tho. i didn select a weapon in the beginning cause it looked like save slots so i almost dropped the game cause nothing was happening. but a chatter saved it and mentioned i didnt select weapons. with weapons the game felt pretty good! thanx for sharing :)

Cool game, really well made! The only issue I had was after completing Planet X—the game gave me a pretty strange character editor where the initial elements didn’t match those on the satellite, and when I launched the next boss, the game froze. But after restarting, everything worked fine! :)

I really liked the visual style, the non-repetitive music, and the unique movesets for each boss. It’s not overly difficult, but still a bit tense, with some strategic elements (especially in weapon assembly). A very well-balanced game!
