There's an upgrade section (the calm) before each run where you can spend currency to enhance the run (the storm).

For the code, yes. As for the assets, most of them are royalty-free.

not a bad little survivors-like
I enjoyed this game. Found it hard to see the bullets against the background in Area 1. Area 2 background was definitely much better.
loved the agar.io look fr! could lean harder into that aesthetic.
i think that it would be more interesting to unlock weapons and upgrades in the run, not only in the main screen. is kind overwhelming the first time
idk if it was intentional for the bullets to curve tho!
overall very simple and fun experience, perfect for some quick play, i'd love to see some online version .io style

This game really reminded me of the flash era, where games were very simple but also had a lot of replayability. What made it very replayable was the upgrade feature, which lets me buy different weapon types and armor which I can use in subsequent runs (my fave weapon btw is the shotgun, it's so good).
I do think however that the color of the background and the objects on the screen can be adjusted a bit, as at times the objects can blend in and become hard to see because of the background. Overall though, I still enjoyed the game, and I am glad I was able to get a high score of 2,913 on it!
The Game is really addicting, and fun! The polish is amazing as well! WELL DONE
Very simplistic, but extremely fun! It feels like the perfect arcade game, and I can definitely see it with a scoreboard in the future with everybody competing to be at the top. The different weapons and upgrades add a lot of variety to the game. The only complaint that I have is that it's hard to see enemy projectiles in later stages when the background color changes, it would be nice if they maybe had an outline, were bigger or if there was an option to change the colors. Honestly, I am enjoying this game too much and will probably be playing it in my lunch hour at work xD

Very simple game but I found myself having a lot of fun! Work on adding some sprites/assets in and you've got a really fun wave shooter on your hands :)
I had a lot of trouble finding assets that would fit the game's style (i dont know how to draw) so i had to run with something simple. Maybe if i had more time i would've worked on finding assets but i didn't have a ton of time. Thank you for the feedback!
