How does your game fit the theme?
It seems like it's so calm and you just keep scoring - but watch out.... It's the calm before the storm!

The jumping feels nice and floaty which I liked, the use of the score to trade health or time is creative since it’s a scoring game. 

I like the cloud when it’s calmed and when the storm hits, I feel a bit tense for the music. Which is not much of something I’m looking for right now but the atmosphere really changed, I share my highest score!

An interesting way to incorporate the theme with a simple gameplay loop. To make it a bit more interesting maybe place coins around the map and include some more platforms.

Cool Game i liked the pixel art also the mechanism of the game was also interesting overall had fun while playing it

the whole mechanic with buying hearts and time was a veeery interesting idea! 

and the game was charming and simple (also no bugs)!

having a few more platforms and a bit bigger level would allow for a little more play with movement.

also, as much as i tried i didn't manage to hit the target on the clouds head without being hit. that being said that may be my own skill issue :P

It is possible to hit the target without being hit yourself but it's currently kind of hard to do it. It also may not be too clear you are still being hit by the lightning somehow whenever that happens. That might be my fault that I didn't think of a way to make that show up more clearly with some combination of cues in the game.

naaah, it was clear that i had to "clear" the cloud but i just couldn't do it :P

maybe try a more forgiving hitbox/collider if you wanna experiment! ggs!

I would definitely consider expanding this after the jam. It has good potential and the mechanics overall are quite interesting. I think it lacks a bit of polish at this point but it has a LOT of potential.

Paying for powerups with score points is pretty interesting. I'd have liked if it was more clear when you take damage, and it seemed hard to damage the cloud without taking some yourself. But the game was very intuitive, and well designed in that regard. Good work

Yeah I really wanted to have it actually, I think it would have been great as well. I wanted to also have much more and different gameplay than this, I'm checking what I could consider to improve and be able to accomplish more in the jam timeframe. Thanks for your comment! Also, I really like your submission a lot! it's a great game!

Wish there was a bit more variety in the coin spawn and I wish I could hit the target without taking damage, but overall a very cute little project. Great job!

The concept is actually really good, I think you can work on this even further make a refined game. But yeah the high score chasing style of the game works well here

This game has the potential to be really cool if there was a little bit more variation, like if coins spawned in different spots, the cloud had more unpredictable patterns, that kind of thing. As it is now though, it's still pretty fun. The time and health pickups were an interesting idea as well.

Very cute. Lot of interesting ideas. I found the gameplay loop a bit repetitive since the coins would spawn at the same place every time. Loved the cloud becoming the evil boss you have to jump on.

Interesting concept of exchanging scores on HP and time, I liked it! Also, I love the cloud emotions. So cute!

I think it would be nice to add some new obstacles and challenges. Also, you should tune the jump — it does not feel natural (but you can add a double jump that costs money). Good job!
