How does your game fit the theme?
The graphics should calm the player at the beginning , but then it turns into a chase game

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code made by me and a few free assets that are indeed taken from the Unity Asset Store(20% of the game are free assets)

Looks really amazing!

Really cool game! Amazing graphics and the atmosphere was done really well, really wished there were checkpoints but overall fantastic game :)

This was a very interesting game to try out! I really liked the graphics and the idea behind it! It would be helpful to add checkpoints when you die, but still overall great work!

Quite impressive. From the atmosphere of the beginning, I was waiting for an horror game of some sort, but then I thought it was only an relaxing puzzle game... until I got caught XD so basically you nailed the theme. The graphics are beautiful and the atmosphere is indeed setled. Reading other comments I too think it would be nice to have checkpoints, and it seems that you'll be working on this after the jam, so definitely you'll come up with something very neat and polished at the end!

The graphics are top notch, I can't believe this game was made in a week!

An intresting game for sure here is some feedback

- Checkpoints: Probably not the only person bringing this up but reapeting long sequences especially of just doing nothing interesting is a no go.

- Ending: I scrolled a bit to check and yeah the lack of ending really hits hard, but one thing I could recomend is to put a note on the itch page (kinda like the once I have for web performance) that will tell the player that the game doesn't feture any ending as some could spend much longer just trying to find something there isn't which is no fun.

- Blank Slate: Now this can work for many games but it requires some setup, but here it's quite hard to feel yourself in the shoes of the protagonist, some cool ways would be either making him a character with some inner monologues ( so just some comments about stuff that's happening he would make) or actually showing him to the player as there is no shadows for the player nor can we see any part of his body, I mean he doesn't even makes sounds when running so we feel more like a camera with headbob rather than an actuall human.

But either way a great submission ( I don't know if I could do 3d for a jam at least not this good )

The visuals are top notch! I would've liked to turn of head-bobbing though. There's a constant, foreboding feeling building up as you enter new areas and solve puzzles. It's cool how the monster was introduced before it came after you. It's not a very scary monster, but being chased did cause some panic in me! xD

wow....cool game, good job!

Great visuals probably one of the best looking 3D games in the jam. Interesting puzzles

Hard game to complete, so don't take it personally that it didn't go for a 3rd run. Game feels nice and great setting of environment.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I didn't have time to code checkpoints, nor a proper ending, but still glad that you enjoyed the visuals :)

I think the puzzles were well done, they were fun, but I did miss a checkpoint, I think dying and starting from the beginning is somewhat tedious.

Very good job! :D

Developer

thanks a lot for the feedback :). And yes, I didn't have time, and forgot , to add checkpoints 💀. And this is why I call this game a roguelike

Pretty cool graphics, and excellent presentation of the jam page.

This is really heckin cool and the visuals are great! Did you model the environments yourself?

I switched four levers, including the one in the schizo maze room with the glowing man trying to get you (on my second try at the game after getting jumped instantly the first time I went into that room). I am not sure as to what is supposed to happen after that, as all the big rings in the grand chamber were spinning and I had visited each room, so I waited and eventually committed suicide. Is there an ending beyond that? Also congrats on some dread horror there, nothing had me more on-edge than descending deeper into a dark and suspicious structure under the ground in an empty liminal space. Also what's the lore behind the strange tunnel and frontier cabin that gives way to the large brick structure? I am curious, this was very cool.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed the visuals :), my main department are graphics and I'm trying to also get better at gameplay feel. There are a few small (free)props that I also used because I just didn't have the time to model literally everything but the scenes/structures were made from scratch, every texture made by me(except for some in the final maze).

And yes, I didn't have time to code the ending but right now I'm updating the game and make it to be some kind of a demo. Not sure if I'll make a full game with this story but will defenetly use this art style :). If you'd like, you can subscribe to my channel , right now I'm working on a personal project with a similar art style, but rather than just being a walking simulator, it'll be a FPS shooter.

First of all and probaly a lot others have said that the graphics of this game are great and it also proves that unity can also make some nice graphics and not only unreal engine.

It was pretty fun the movmenet was great and the ghost really jumpscared, but there was one thing that annoyed me is that after you die you go back to the very start of the game which is annoyying and when i come back i need to do what i already did again.

Developer

it's a roguelike game 💀

Graphics and atmosphere were amazing. Truly amazing ,mechanics of buildings are also amazing.  I thought adding animations to machines in our game was a big thing but after seeing what you did there i see we it was nothing. I just felt like it was a little hard for me to understand what to do next is hard a bit. It's okay tho, its a game jam project i am sure it will be perfect when you have more time to work on it! Good job

The game looks amazing! The atmosphere really stood out and kept me engaged throughout the experience. The level of detail in the design and graphics is truly impressive, especially for a jam entry completed in just a week. Well done!
