This is a great interesting game. Loved the concept and the designs. PaleGhosts should be one of the developer I guess but it didn't show the developer/submitted badge. I have to go to the profile page to find this game.

Developer

Ty, glad you enjoyed!

Ohhh we thought it was a weird itch bug thing, Spook should be a developer indeed and she is on the game's page but it seems that didn't transfer to here, how can I add her?!

In the admin page there's a checkbox you need to check :) - Display as contributor?

Developer

Yes it worked, she's got the tag now! tysm :D

You did an ASTONISHING  job here. I love the art SO much. I'm jealous of the skill. I will play this further later as it's getting late where I'm at but this is for sure a bookmark for me!

Developer

Aaa thank you!!

Well if there's something I didn't expect is to ever hear ABBA in a boss battle. xD
Very cute game! Lovely puzzle elements, great cohesive artstyle, cute dogos, lovely setting! Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! Looking at it like this, the boss music is indeed quite strange, but I came across it on Pixabay and knew it was perfect!

Really cute game with the art and bouncing pads! Had lot of fun jumping around and doing the puzzles.

The boss was hard to beat undamaged almost died a 2nd time xD. The art was real good tho I don't get it why some parts are outline with color and most of it just black outline xD.

Overall real fun game, would had loved to see the catbot get really destroyed. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed! I sadly didn't have time to make a bigger death animation lol

Great submission! I think that it is not always clear what to do, but I really like how you managed to include the theme! The music is really good and I like the relaxing mood !

Can't say more than what's already been said, this submission is awesome

Good game design and fun gameplay, congrats!

Great game,  I really enjoyed the art and sound, the gameplay was simple and engaging. The mechanics of the boss fight were a bit frustrating at times, I think I would have preferred if the boss started moving before the bombs came out to better predict where to be. Overall an excellent submission, well done!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

In hindsight the boss battle should've had fewer jump pads to give more control to the player. I had to have the cat move at 7 ticks left, because that's when it can check where all the bombs are and has enough time to move to avoid just damaging itself too much (I didn't have much time to do more complex stuff)

Submitted(+1)

This was very cute and fun! I really like how you introduce the mechanics of the bounce pads so the player can get used to it and then test them on it in the final battle! It would have been cool to see some of the other earlier mechanics like the moving platform or wrench show up at the end as well. Great game :)

Developer(+1)

Ty, glad you liked it! :D
I think it's pretty cool that I could use the same mechanics for a puzzle and a combat situation ^^

I was gona add a moving platform and maybe picking up bolts to heal to the bossfight, but I stayed up till 2am and woke up at 7am on the last day, I had no time to add anything more than that was absolutely needed lol

Submitted

It was really cool! Haha classic I know the feeling. I did exactly the same with my game

Submitted(+1)

What can I say that hasn't already been said haha. The art is stunning, definitely a solid 5/5 from me. And the items jumping higher effectively introduces a neat puzzle element into platforming, speaking of which the controls felt fluid and snappy, and umm.. Maximillian got bombed to death by Catbot hehe :p

Developer(+1)

Nooooo Max!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed my sticky friend :D

Submitted (1 edit)

Bye Max, RIP T-T

Wait I just read sticky as in glue sticky and then I realized its supposed to mean stickman lol

Submitted(+1)

Never thought I would hear Abba in a boss fight lmao and it fits really well lol

Cute and fun game! Really liked the levels and each interaction... Took me a bit to get a hang of the bombs but in the end I succeeded lol

Developer(+1)

Now that you say it, it is absud indeed lmao
Glad you enjoyed :D

All I have to say is wow! Really good work! Love the puzzles and the boss fight was fun and not too hard. I really liked the mechanic where you needed to bounce things around to move them around the map. Really well made game. Impressive!

Edit: And the artwork is amazing!

Developer

Glad to hear that you like the art, thank you! ♡

Pretty good game. The crane is a bit weak tho, imagine not carrying both the player and a single wrench D:

The game itself is fun and I love that you added a boss fight at the end. It was fairly easy and fun. Good Job!

Developer

Shhh, don't be so mean to the crane, it's not his fault! (it's mine)
Glad you liked it :D

I can't beat the first two levels but I can beat the boss

Developer

Lol
I guess puzzle games just aren't for you, that's why we got Catbot to bring some spice into it! Hope you enjoyed 'em :D

Ty! The dialogue boxes have the text they want stored, and then add the next character to the display label every frame :P

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! I had a lot of fun drawing for the project

Great work on this! The aesthetics are great, the mechanic of bouncing items was novel, and it was a pleasant experience.

Best of luck to you in the jam :)
