50 levels insane !
Very fun concept. I think this was an interesting take on the theme. I think this game could use some faster stopping with the player's controls and maybe a tighter hitbox.
It was a very fun bullethell and solid entry. Goodjob :)
This game is very complete and quite fun too :)
gg
This is a very feature-complete game, especially for a short jam like this one. There's a good variety of enemies, bullet patterns, and even some navigation puzzles (with the round plates that turn off again when you step on them a second time.) The balance is also pretty good, with the checkpoints not being placed too closely together or too far apart.
Good job! I'm quite impressed by this.
A big thanks for playing and leaving this feedback ;) ! Glad you like it !
This game is extremely fun, mixing up gameplay by changing the goal of each room. The tutorial at the start made it very easy to jump right in to exploring the rest of the map. The visuals and audio are excellent, fitting the theme in terms of atmosphere and scenery. It is also very challenging, but I found a bug in the game that makes most rooms easy to pass. Upon dying in a room and returning to a checkpoint, pausing the game and clicking resume will send your character to the center of the room you last died in, with full health. All rooms are pretty much checkpoint rooms at this point, and even if your character spawns on a central enemy it is possible to avoid all damage by dashing quickly enough. The last, seemingly impossible level can be beat using this method by dashing to the top-right corner while taking 0 damage, tanking the bullets until 9 seconds, then dashing back towards the center and getting lucky enough for the timer to hit 10 seconds to see...
The door you just came from open back up. And dying anyway.

I loved the game!
wow wow wow ! You’re impressive ! You discovered all the things hidden in the game ;)
Yes, the last level was designed to be impossible as I misse time to create a finish scene. And…. you did beat it !! Wow ! Don’t tell anyone, it’s our secret ;)
(And yeah, I forget to save the real position of the player when you go back to the menu, so …. It can become some kind of checkpoint ;)
A big thanks for testing the game, and you kind feedback. Glad you like it
The game is very hard, but I couldn't stop playing! Just having to dodge and dash without focusing on aiming as well felt like a nice change of pace. The music and art are simple, but good.
If you checked out my submission as well, I would appreciate that :)
The game is very difficult. There's a lot of content, so you can probably play for hours without getting bored. The player feels kinda awful to control, though. They don't have much acceleration, so control feels difficult. The lack of an invincibility after getting hit makes dying from a mistake very easy to happen. The game is relentless without any leniency. The game has cute art and nice accompanying sounds, though. Great work!
Thx for testing. Sorry for the “awful” controls ;) Some other players loved it. So maybe it’s just the game that doesn”t run on desired fps on your machine ? Because, on my machine the player have a total acceleration, switching from 0 to desired speed instant. Maybe I miss something ;)
the game is very well polished. The art style is really cool, and the controls are very responsive. I loved the mixture of puzzle and bullet hell, I think that when you open the map the game could pause, I took several hits while looking at the map ><. Super cool game, congratulations.
It is hard to believe that this a jam game. This feels like a game that took months of effort and I should be paying for. I love the variety of rooms. The music is great. The only complaint I could make is that the door hitboxes felt too big, but I also had the tendency to rub against the walls to avoid bullets.
Thanks for your kind words. Yeah I see after there is a small imprecision about the door hitbox. Will correct that after the voting period ends ;)
Nice sound effects and visual effects! The variety of the different room objectives was fun. I feel like removing the acceleration from the game would make it feel more fluid.
A couple of minor issues aside (floaty controls and massive hitboxes being the main things) this is a great entry. Looks great and is fun to play, with some challenging rooms towards the end. This one though? This isn't possible is it?!
haha ! Yes it’s designed to be impossible as I miss some time to design a finish scene ;) But apparently a player beat it ! Idk how, I can’t do that at all ;)
Well play to access to last level anyway. Thanks for testing ;)
Love the soundtrack, love the visuals, just feel like the player isn't very responsive. Other than that, great game
50 LEVELS ?!?! AMAZING GAME WOW
Very fun concept! really liked the design and it definelly gets challenging after some levels, i don't have any real complains other then i personally would like a more free movement for the player character, it's probally a design choice but i felt like the player is too heavy and slow compared to the rest of the game, but thats more on what i personally like then how the game "should" be.
Very fun and polished! Some UX and UI problems and the game gets to hard to fast. Also perhaps making the hitbox a bit smaller than the avatar would make the game feel less unfair
Very fun game. It feels very nice to play, and the challenge is great.
Very nice game ! I love graphics and sound design. Some rooms are so hard, i did not reach the end of the game yet but did you cared about the possibility to perfect each room without being hit ?
Congrats for it !
Thx. You’re right : I miss some work on some room’s pattern ! Maybe in an update ;)
Really cool game! But sadly, after a while, the game got impossible... the dash was no longer working, and the animations were broken! But otherwise, the music is very good! The graphics are very cute too :D Great job
Thx for testing. Wow, you’re the first one with this bug. Sorry ^^ Curious about what happens and wich config ?
Instant fun and solid package overall
I like the original spin on the concept, where you've turned a bullet hell in more of a puzzle game where you have to solve rooms to move on and with no weapon for the player you essetially just focus on dodging.
The vector art is really good, it has that distinctive cartoony flash game style to it ^^
also a good point on approachability hre as it starts slow and the fact you don't fight back really helps learning how to avoid certain patterns since the game is focus on one task to either survive or activate items.
My only gripe here is that you can accidentally go backwards if you didn't remember which door you came from afet some intense dodging, so it could be nice to have only the next level's door open.
Other than that like i said solid and polished, good job :)
Many thanks for your kind words and for testing the game ;)
Yeah for the door, at the start of the jam, I think about a complicated maze where you can get lost, but I simplify this as the game is already difficult like this.
No problem, haha well it is an interesting idea of mixing all this with a maze, but still this would definitively make the game harder so good call there ^^
this was so much fun tough but very addictive... this one is a keeper, you should make this into a full game with more features , will you continue to make this game after the Jam ? love the music, where did you get it ?
Wow. A big thanks for your feedback.
If the game is apreciated, I can consider continue working on it, but I have already some other projects to finish ;)
The music come from GDC audio bundle 2019. You can grab it for free on their site, good ressource ;)
sounds good thanks .
