Nice interpretation of theme
Like the game, quite challenging !
Well play
WOA this was intese!!!. there is so much gameplay. i like that you can choose from upgrades like scaling the room. also, the firerange at the beginning was a little difficult.
and the art was so simple but still amazing!! especially wiht the animaitons it just came to live. Well done!
Feels pretty neat and the upgrading system is a great touch with the positive-negative dilemma to choose from. Simple but nice!
The good:
Great feel, simple gameplay. There might be a bit too much camera shake but the gameplay does go pretty well. Playing in a constrained arena is the simplest implementation of the theme and it's OK at best. But the gameplay makes up for it.
Very approachable difficulty and the upgrading system helps make up for lack of skill.
To improve:
There is a distinct jank with how the sprites move, and there are other things that could do without. It's hard to tell whats the actual hitbox of the player with how big the player sprite is and while I played the game relatively fine, I also felt confused occasionally when I took damage.
There could be additional mechanics at play.
Otherwise, simple and good!
Best game I've played so far, the enemies, the bosses, the player choices, the bullet impact, the audio and the challenge all fit so well. Right up my alley, I loved every second of it, with a long term game design and rogue lite elements, I would buys this. Feels like Isaac with guns, really really good job. 5 in all departments.
This is really good, but very-very hard.
Awesome game! It feels really juicy and it’s very fun to play, I enjoyed it a lot even though I couldn’t get past room 1 (I really suck at bullet hell games haha).
The idea is really cool and well executed, the sound is fitting and catchy, basically everything feels great as is!
Congrats!!
So good i came back to play more.
The levels of polish here are insane! The mechanic was good and the shooting felt solid. Best game I've played in this jam so far.
This was an incredible game! Very difficult, but I like that, haha.
I love how the room size is tied to your health, and the audio-visual polish and style are just pure perfection. I do wish it was easier to tell when you got hit, and that the options for upgrades can't be both size ups or downs, though, but the gameplay's extremely good outside those two things.
clever use of the theme, a ton of fun and well executed. suggestion: make the crosshair a bit more obvious. otherwise, thanks for sharing :)
Good game! I love everything about this! Keep up the good work!
The upgrades and their tradeoffs are great espcially with the play area.
That and the audio-visual polish it has makes this very fun and highly replayable, I just seems to get "stuck" in too small play areas way too often. Prehaps that one of two upgrades always guranteed to be a keep or expand play area would've solved that a bit.
I love that the room size is your health! I also love good polish, wich this game has plenty!
Oops I just realized I commented on the itch page instead of here. Anyways, super polished game, it's incredibly fun to play. The music slaps hard! Well done!
This is really well executed and it uses the theme in a pretty unique way. The visuals are also very simple but work really well. Overall this is a very polished and fun experience!
Ridiculously difficult, but ridiculously fun.
Also, it fits the theme perfectly.
Great job!
On my second play I realised the relation between the room size and me getting hit :P.
Great game mechanic! Made it harder and punished for mistakes :).
Great combination of Bullet hell style with the confined theme.
Enjoyed the Art and music elements, brought it together well.
Will be favouring this one to come back to :)
THAT. WAS. AWESOME. That music added SO much. The mechanics feels great. The decision mechanic is particularly interesting. Loved it!
nice
