Fantastic game! I'm amazed by the aesthetics of the sounds and visuals!
I really like the mechanics of the clocks. It's really creative and fun as well, but I never really felt like I needed to pay that much attention to the type of clock. Since the goal is always to either to kill all the enemies or get to the next rewind checkpoint, I didn't ever have a reason to not just hit whatever clock was nearest to me.
I'd love to see a room that forces you to think more carefully about the clocks (as maybe a quick example: you need to wait for a platform that moves independently of the enemies dying, so pausing time doesn't work).
Thanks for the feedback! I 100% agree with what you are saying. Putting the player in a position where they need to be more mindful of the use of the clocks was definitely something we had on the list, but unfortunately did not fit into the scope of the jam anymore. Will be something for us to think about for after the jam.
This is superb. The music, animations, implementation of the idea, gameplay. I personally love when games implement time bending mechanics. I hope it wins this jam :D
Thanks a lot for your fantastic feedback. Really appreciated :)
Really creative! I love it! It definitely have the potential do be a full game :)
Thank you very much :)
pretty clever use of the theme
thanks :)
The last puzzle sold me on the idea, would love to play a post jam version of this!
Glad you liked it :)
This is so brilliant. Matches the theme a lot. It could have also gotten a place in the brackeys game jam where the theme was rewind
Thanks a lot :)
Really cool idea! You used the theme really well and it's certainly unique. The effects alongside the audio felt good, just like the rest of the game. I do wish the player had a little more range, though, sometimes it felt like you really had to walk inside the turrets to hit them. Cool game :)
Thank you for your positive feedback :) Fair point, a little bit more range on the attack wouldn't have hurt.
this the most innovative theme i found so far, i really love the sprite and the time mechanics
Thank you :)
Amazing game, one of my favorites so far!! I love the pixel art style, the audio rewinding and the theme's implementation, you've managed to pull that off so well. Keep it up!
thank you for the positive feedback :)
Very unique concept and clean artstyle,
Thanks :)
Really enjoyed this one. Last room was quite a challenge!
Thank you! Hope you made it out regardless :)
Beautifully executed concept. Got stuck behind a door at one spot and caught in a REAL infinite time loop, but hey, bugs in game jame games are to be expected.
I'm amazed by how well you pulled off the time manipulation mechanic, seems super challenging to pull off.
Thank you for the positive feedback :) Do you remember roughly where you got stuck behind a door? Would be interesting to know where it happend.
Here. Teleported back through probably 5 loops while stuck but then the game suddenly ended?
Ah, yes so you get stuck when the door rewinds to closed. Should have been a bit more space between the clock and the door. The trigger for the end is right there where the light is, so you must have collided with it eventually. Sorry about that, right at the end, too :D
Nice concept, we kinda had the same idea! The art looks really nice. I was kinda stuck on one part before I realized I could hit the clock multiple times lol. Great job!
Just played yours! Yep, I was also thinking about giving the player just one hitpoint, because there is a fast respawn mechanism, but we didn't want to make it too difficult for the jam.
Very fun! Starts with a good challenge and then ramps up. A good start to a great premise.
Very nice that your time is also your hit points, and frequent checkpoints balance the challenge nicely.
Thank you!
Wow, i really liked the idea! This is going up in the ranking for sure, not too hard, but i was always in a rush trying to hit those clocks
Thanks :)
Really awesome game!! :D
A very solid entry. It wonβt surprise me if you get to be one of the best rated games
Thank you! :)
Really well done! Took me a second to realize I needed to kill the turrets lmao
Thank you! Hopefully you weren't stuck for too long ;)
Cute art, good sfx and music and the most important... VERY FUN <3 i loved it!
Thank you very much, really appreciated :)
