Great job! I really liked the concept alot and the art and music were great! The beat drop when you unlock the weapon was amazing!! The character controller with wall jumping could use a little work. Pressing jump and opposite direction at the same time didnt feel great. a possible solution would be that once wall stuck you dont have to continue holding the direction or when wall jumping your initial velocity is opposite wall. either way it worked as is. it just might need fine tuning, overall really fun! Great job!!

I like it! It reminded me of Dash.. something? There was a smartphone game where you would have to jump to the beat in order to get to the end and I loved this game! This one is just as great!
The game mechanic was hard at the starting but I got used to it later on, this is a very unique idea. You have turned a melody game into a game of precision and timing.
The game is cool. The mechanic was difficult at first but get easier the more I play. And just like the comment below, I got stuck in the loop when I am beaten by the first enemy.
The idea of the game is very good, plus the sounds fit perfectly. It is very pleasant to play
Very interesting concept! I love the visual style and the music. Also, when you reach a checkpoint, I noticed that a new "instrument" is added to the music. Very good detail.
I couldn't reach the end because I got stuck by a bug when I reached the part where there is a moving platform, and you have to hit the enemies, but I fell off, and I was spawned where there's no ground, so now I'm falling for the eternity!
Furthermore, I had some problems with the movement and the wall jump. Sometimes the character gets stuck and can't move consistently. The wall jump is hard to perform, I didn't understand it at all.
Love the concept of the game and the challenge it provides. The music is good and I think its a really cool interpretation of the theme. I wish the wall jump was a bit easier to execute, but I still had a really great time playing it. Good job!
Pretty sweet! Sync seemed maybe a little off, but pretty sure that's something that varies from hardware to hardware and would require some tweaking. The aesthetics are nice, music's really good and generally a great concept!
Visuals and music were neat. About the gameplay, it could just be me but I couldnt get the hang of the synchronisation. I kept just waiting for my jump to be ready and therefore not really feeling the flow of the game. If maybe this is just a skill issue some tutorial on how to get into the flow of the game could be nice, thx! Another suggestion is doing automatic movement, and just let the player control the jumps, in this way you can make the level design easier to synch, just a thought though. Overal good job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.
We had previously identified that issue where sometimes the timing of the jumping mechanism is out of sync with the song's beat. We suspect this may be due to a hardware problem, and we are actively working to resolve this issue.
And we have implemented a feature that allows you to move freely without adhering to the rhythm by pressing the "C" key. We welcome you to play again.
Initially, we also considered having the character move automatically, with the player only controlling jumping and attacking. Most similar games on the market do this, but that approach would have made it just another rhythm game. To innovate, we tried to incorporate more action elements, allowing players full control over the character. To achieve this, we thought of many ways to synchronize all elements with the rhythm. For example, the speed of the enemies is dynamically adjusted based on their distance from the player, ensuring that under player control, the enemies can also reach the character's position in rhythm.
Very good idea, music is very good, visuals too.
I don't know if it's on my part, but the timing of the jump mechanic is not synced with the beat of the song. Other than that, it's pretty good, very creative gameplay!
I love the idea and execution, I unfortunately have the rhythm of a stone and was dreadful at it but the overall cool concept and good execution.
great music, creative idea , gameplay a bit complicated, overall I liked the game
Fun concept! Like the other comments, wall-jumping was a bit difficult for me to do, but I enjoyed timing actions to the beat. I also liked the the simple and effective art style of the game.
Really cool game. I found the wall jumping a little hard to get the hang of, but still enjoyable :)
It's so refreshing to see a rhythm game in this jam, specially when it feels that well.
Good job!
