Nice gameplay , nice graphics and amazing soundtrack! I think that amoeba doing instakill is a bit harsh and may be the jump sfx doesn't fir with the sound atmosphere of the game, but this is just my opinion. I really enjoyed the game!
Awesome game, I loved the simplicity of the design and the gameplay. The bosses where fun even if simple. I didn't like the trial and error of the latest levels but it wasn't too frustrating or bad enough to stop playing. A few nitpick would be the sfx, that i fought were a little out of place, and some enemy placements but for the rest it's a very cool experience. Good job
I always did want goldeneye to include a giant disinfectant bottle and mothra. Thank you for fulfilling my dreams. <3
(I enjoyed the game, thank you.)
fun game up until the 1 shot amoeba dudes. really dig the vibe of the music and visuals.
The gameplay was fun and I enjoyed the retro aesthetic of the game! The slide-whistle jump sound was outrageous- in a good way though.
loool it reminds me of my project (fps in a facility, except in mine you have to escape)! Let's try this and see your game (I'll edit my comment)
Edit: So it's not the same (at all lol). It was very fun :D But when I was out of ammo, I didn't know what to do. Actually, I forgot to read the controls on itch.io and I couldn't find them in your game. You should add them ingame (so dumb people like me can find their way hahaha)
Good job overall
Gunplay felt satisfying. Bosses felt well balanced too, always had just enough ammo to complete them. I liked the horror twist/dodging enemies in the second half of the game, added some nice variety.
Graphics fit the game style, and the music has some punch to it. Your choice of jump SFX was amusing too. Overall, really nailed the Retro-Goldeneye shooter vibes.
For improvements, I'd say that weapons should be selectable using the scroll wheel rather than just the [TAB] key. Maybe add another weapon in for some variety (e.g. a sniper).
Cool submission. Congratulations!
Awesome game! Fun, fast-paced, almost half-life vibes. Played through to the end wanting more, and I'm not even an FPS guy. A few things I would like to see: AI movement like strafing for some challenge, better AI detection (I could often see and shoot them and they are standing still because they are far away), maybe a bit of telegraphing on that enemy that kills you on contact (the atmosphere for that part is really cool though).
I noticed a lot of nice touches you don't often see in jams like bullet decals, cool bosses, and some good atmospheric storytelling. Music suited the game really well. Nice job, hope you work on it or something similar post-jam :)
great 007 vibes! had a blast playing through the levels and scaling up the building as much as I could. Ended up running out of ammo and couldn't figure out how to switch to my fists during a boss battle but was a great play! great job.
Is that the PP7 sound effect from my beloved Goldeneye? Excellent taste in your nostalgia vibes. Really enjoyed the overall graphical style, the hand and weapon animations too. If I were to critique, I suppose I'd say the music became a little repetitive as time went on for me.
Really enjoying seeing all these other FPS's in the jam. Let me know what you think of mine. :)
Enjoyed my playthrough. Managed to play through to the final boss alright. I enjoyed that it was just pretty fast paced all the way up. Music seemed the same. Might have felt more of the transitions if it changed slightly with each "level". Nice one, Raccoon Formality
Fun game with great effects, sounds, and gameplay! Would love to learn a bit more about the story throughout. Enjoyed playing it!
