Game description
Uncover hidden treasures as you search for your missing friend.

Theme interpretation
I interpreted the theme "secrets" as hidden from sight and hidden truths.

The platforming felt good. Graphics were nice, especially the transition into a dream state. The puzzles were pretty interesting to solve and used the mechanics of the game well. There were a couple soft-locks and bugs/exploits that messed with the games difficulty (we can share those with you if you care or intend to work on this more past the game jam), but overall a pretty good experience. Nice work.

Easy to use and the graphics are good.

The art looks good and I like the way you used the secret theme.

Very neat 4 color sidescroller!

The game is really nice! The gameplay is well-designed, and I love the puzzles—they're challenging but not too difficult, which is well-balanced. It's clever to leave some chests inaccessible at the start, which you find again when you return to the tent and after getting the block cane. It feels a lot like Zelda puzzles, but in a side-scrolling version, especially with the block cane, which is also in some Zelda games! :) The dark pixel art atmosphere is simple and effective. Adding a little background music would really enhance it! :)

I think the idea of dreams revealing secrets is interesting, but I feel it's underutilized. Could it serve more purposes than just guiding and following the trace of the friend? Maybe to reveal other secrets, for example? Or to solve certain puzzles? I think this feature has great potential for innovative gameplay!

Unfortunately, I experienced a freeze, and another time I got stuck in a platform collision. But I managed to finish the game on my third try!

Really nice game once again! Are you planning to continue developing it? I'd be interested in following its progress!

Great game, I really like the art and the controls are very responsive, it feels very nice to play!

I like the art style very much and it’s a great idea to switch between the dream and real world. But somehow there was a glitch where it switched rooms back right after entering but then the character didn’t appear anymore.

The art is amazing. The use of empty space is great. The puzzles were tricky, but fun great game.

Loved the art and lighting (shader) and the theme interpretation! There were plenty of hidden gems to be found, but the game was also barely explained which left a nice amount of figuring stuff out. It seems that the room with 4 switches can just be skipped, as another portal brings you to the right of it? And at some point I didn't dare look for more gems as I had only one heart left, but maybe I should have used dream mode for that haha.

great game, tricky puzzles, interesting mechanic. I got the wand but got stuck in the room with 4 switches that can only be opened in dream mode (where you have an extra obelisk). So I could open the door and walk through while dreaming, but when leaving the dream it teleported me back to where Id started, so eventually gave up.

Got a glitch a couple times where if I entered a screen and exited quickly, it would take me to a different screen and deload my character sprite, but other than that, I love what you've done with the place. It's hard to make four colors attractive but since you tied it to the day and night cycle of dreams and finding your dream wife, it suits it all very well. You also killed it with the lighting. It was unclear at first exactly what to use dreaming FOR, but I figured out some of the ins and outs. I think my favorite designs are the way that the platforms work with jumping. I didn't even realize I was in control of that at first and was trying to time my jump haha. Cheers!

This was very enjoyable! You squeezed a lot of atmosphere out of such a tiny number of pixels. The sparse audio fit the vibe perfectly. The controls are really responsive and overall the game played really well.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere / graphics. Discovering gems encouraged me to play again, though I still couldn't find them all haha. Had a great time exploring!
