Some of these levels are creative. But most of them aren't in my likings much.

Incredibly difficult but heaps of fun.

There is a lot of thoughtful game design packed into this game. The only thing I failed to pick up on was the teleportation mechanic (probably on me), but this game has a lot to offer. Nice work.

This game is right up my ally. I found myself repeatedly saying "Okay, once I finish this level, I'll take a break and come back to this later" and it kept dragging me back in!

I got to level 30 before I had to step away but I'll 100% be coming back to this one after the jam. No notes!

Great game, with simple clean graphics.

This is so fun! I like that you added new features along the way, but made the player figure out how to beat each level. I like the old-school simple layout and definitely appreciated (and used) the skip feature.

Submitted(+1)

A tad too difficult for me to enjoy I'm affraid, even with the level skip, but definitely feels intentional and is well made.

Good job!

Played a bit further, this time used the 'jump levels' which I hadn't spotted before as an option (maybe flag that in-game?), although struggling with the controls a bit, the later levels are especially fun / good design. I just found some of the early levels too frustrating/unforgiving originally. One small tweak I'd like is if on death the level reset to where it started, so I don't have to wait for things to get back to their 'ready for me to jump on the platform etc' state.

Cool little puzzle game. Very challenging!!! But I made it through a few levels and it was engaging for sure. The early level where you have to race through the maze behind the faster thing was stressful haha!

Submitted(+1)

Ok I'm definitely not reaching level 100 on this one XD. It's a really good challenging game ! I love how you use the mechanics in each level to make harder and harder levels. Also thank you so much for the skip button so us noobs can see the rest of the levels 😊.

P.S. When I saw your game's title I thought we might have had similar ideas but nope, it's completely different XD. It's clear yours is much more well thought out. I procrastinated too hard on mine till the last week lol. Also damn 39 seconds. Hope your heart has recovered from that.

Developer(+1)

My heart has in fact not recovered XD

Glad you used the skip button to at least check out the rest of the levels, there's many here who I think haven't and I wish they would have, it's why I added it after all :P

hahaha this is insanely challenging. I love how you slowly introduce new mechanics before pushing the difficulty up. I got to level 20 (skipped a few) before I gave up. I am not fit for this challenge :(. I do think that the timing on some of the trials is very tight. Trial 7 I just could not do to be honest, or trial 2 even. I would say that kind of difficulty is better suited for higher levels than the first 10. I love that you added the option to navigate levels! I loved also how on level 17 for example you made the bridge out of the background tiles but slightlyyy shifted. Nice level design in my opinion. I noticed that the level names also hint at how you're supposed to approach it and I like that a lot. Note sure how this game fits into the theme though. I definitely felt great after finishing some of these trials though hahaha, quite rewarding when you do complete one.

Keep up the good work!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

It definitely more loosely fits the theme where some of the levels have secrets / unobvious ways to complete them but it's just what I thought of at the time :P I think I also intended for it to be more puzzley than it ended up being.

Thanks for the review and your experience, all that kind of stuff definitely helps me get better at making things just knowing what people like!

Fun and challenging. It's one of those games that you could waste a whole evening on. "Secret" is in the concept of in order to solve the puzzles, you need to figure it out, you don't give anyone the solution. It's not my interpretation, but I do think it's valid. Good job!

Developer

It's definitely a looser interpretation, but I had an idea and went with it!

Thanks for playing!

Fun game. I got stuck on level 7. I cant get the timing right. Knowing that there are 100 levels and I'm stuck on level 7 does not feel good.

Developer

The timing can definitely be tight, my advice to you is to move when the object moves in front of you since by the time you actually start moving, the obstacle will be gone.

It's definitely a game meant to be difficult though and not every level is for everyone, feel free to skip the timing based levels, I have many friends who did just that while playing.

Thanks for checking the game out!

Very fun! Levels seemed easy at first glance, but they were very much not lol

I got through about 30 (non concurrent), and I'm sweating. Your game tutorializes itself very well by starting slow and building momentum. I thought it would be more of a puzzle game, but some of it seems to be exactly what you said, challenging trials. Whenever I got stuck, I'm glad you had the skip option, but usually the answer was observation and patience. You definitely made restarting painless, which is a huge plus for games like this. Thanks!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!

Made it through about 30 or so levels. Got to say this really so some difficult game.
While Respawn is instant and lets me get back right away it looks like levels themselves don't reset. It is fine for most levels but if something needs to be done in a long sequence I have to wait till it resets itself. Even switching levels don't seem to reset them :(

Developer

Yeah if I updated or re-did this game I would absolutely have a trigger that would reset the levels at the start of them. Thanks for trying the game out!

good levels, great basic setup, but controlsystem too weak for a game which needs pixel-perfect positioning, and page is incorrectly rendered massively off edge of screen instead of fitting browswer window. Getting stuck on corners all the time and being unable to adjust except in big steps was frustrating in a not-good way

Submitted

The mechanics of the game are really good, but I am stuck at level 2, can you help me how to escape through?

Submitted(+1)

I liked this game a lot. I always love when someone makes a game with some very basic elements. I admit I couldn't get through all the puzzles. You got 100 of them - well done!

Developer

Thanks!
