Great job with the game. I finished it in 5:01.

Good use of theme and the controls were nice and tight.  Very well polished game except for the music and sound.

Keep up the good work!

Completed it in 6:34. Fun game, nice job

Made it in 05:15, that last lvl really taking my time lol. Nice story, polished gameplay, & quite challenging. Just missing the music/sfx and its a solid game.

Really well done! I really enjoyed it. Could not get past lvl 5 (maybe 6?) it was a bit difficult. My time was 5:13 :)

Good use of the theme and well executed! The controls and platforming all felt nice and tight. The monsters in the other dimension were a nice touch and added a good sense of danger too. I got 4:50! Died a couple times on spikes!

Very good game excellent mechanics

very solid entry. I think adding subtle sounds and atmospheric soundscapes/music could really elevate the atmosphere of your game. also dying in later stages right at the end is super punishing - but I can respect that.

The game looks great. There are clear indications of the important objects in another dimension, really help the player in figuring out how to progress. Love that you have to lure the enemy to an advantageous position to proceed in some sections. The controls feel good. The backstory and in-game tutorial give the game some story value. Some BGM and sound effects would make the game perfect.

Great game.

Great job! Felt real nice and had good polish.

In my opinion, this is a high-polished game already. Your control is smooth that the jump high and the terrian position just fits together. The mechanics of 2d transition is so cool too, anyways, good job!

Thanks for your feedback !

Great submission. I can't add to what other's haven't already stated. I did enjoy it. Took me a little over 5 minutes. Good job, especially for your first time!

Developer

Thanks you !

4:52! I could definitely do better but I do want to look at a lot of other games in the jam as well. :D

This isn't the only game to allow switching between dimensions and for obstacles or enemies to only exist on one side, but of the ones I've played this is maybe the only one which clearly and easily shows those obstacles in both views. That turns it into less of a memorization and guesswork game into a platforming and reflex game with a bit of thinking (which I failed on at times.) That said, the spikes were less distinct than the other aspects as to which set were in which dimension, in part because of the small screen size.

Everything looks good and performs well, there are a tiny bit of collision issues when jumping against the edge of a platform but nothing game breaking. Great job over all!

Congratulations on your submission! I can't believe this is your first time. My total rating would've been really high if it wasn't for the missing sounds and music. The game is well put together with great art, and the mechanics are simple but you executed them nicely!! I'd love to see where you go from here :D

Oh and I did it in 7:33, not my proudest since I'm usually good at platformers xD

Thanks a lot  !

Good lawd! It took me over 17 minutes. I’m bad at platformers lol! Great job!

Thanks, I hope you still had fun.

Nice game! I enjoyed the concept and the level design! I did 4:23

Developer

Thanks ! Nice time, congratulations !

Good game. Nice level design.

Besides the music and audio, some visual effects will be great.

Just a suggestion for the spike, since the sprite is only pointy at the top, how about make the collider smaller, or make it always under the player level when on the floor? the spike in my game is just like yours. Just got the idea when playing yours.

Good work!

Developer

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to test some options to see what feels the best.

Nice work! Feels like a classic arcade game! I got 3:07......is that good or bad I wonder....

Developer

It's not good, it's excellent ! That's the best time so far, congratulations !

I really like the incorporation of the theme in the mechanics, and the aesthetic is nice.

To not suggest sound, I would probably recommend more ways of movement, the classic left and right + jump is pretty standardized, definitely just a personal gripe though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.

Pretty decent platformer with a thematic twist. Good job

I have to agree with the other comment that music and sound effects are sorely missed.

Developer

Thanks, next time I'll be sure to move sounds up in the priority list ^^

Do you remember what time you got ?

Not really. 7 and something?
