This is a pretty cool idea well executed. I really liked the art style here. Well done!
The Game's Description was enough to understand how the game is played without the tutorial, and it fits the theme quite well, it looks nice and was a lot of fun, great work!
It was good talking to you about your game. I enjoyed it on the whole aside from a few frustrating points. Generally very good with a solid mechanic, well done
I feel like suck a pillock for not realising I could manually drag the ingredients in to the cauldron. >.<
that's a pretty cool game! very very fun, good job, i love the art style! Please check out my game too :D
Nice art
Wonderful animation and art style! The little frog dude is cute and expressive! A super neat little game :D Great job submitting a unique game to the jam~ please check out mine if you haven't :D
That was very original and fun to play. Nice job!
Super original game! Took a little bit of time for me to understand but it was a loooot of fun. The art-style is cute as well and I think you guys did a great job!
took a long time to figure it out, but nice concept
I really enjoyed the animation and the tutorial you had set up! The game seems to enter the fail state even after one mistake, so I wonder if there can be a buffer like a 3-strike system. Still, this is a really solid concept with a great artstyle.
What a good game! I think it's really original, I love the visual art. It was very fun! Keep creating games!
Awesome job with this game! Watching the tutorial video really helped, otherwise I dont know that I would've known what was going on haha but I love the overall presentation and aesthetic. The frog is fantastic! It was definitely frustrating when other ingredients were being dragged in when I was close to getting the potion, but that is just the out of control nature for ya. I did run into a case where no more smooth orange ingredient spawned and I didnt know what to do. Overall nice job!
Thanks for taking the extra time to watch the video, it was very painful to find out we had accidentally left the tutorial disabled when we submitted : p
Sorry to hear about the bug, but I'm glad you enjoyed the game nonetheless!
This is a really fun game. It looks like we had similar ideas for the "out of control" prompt. Managing the potion, as well as the cauldron and the ingredients was really challenging but a lot of fun. Once I worked out how the potion shapes were crafted the game became a lot of fun.
It took some time to understand butIi really like frogs, potions and weird hard games ! :D
It takes me a little bit to understand the whole mechanics but when i got it, the game become really fun, good job!
The game looks and plays really good! Took me a long time to figure out how the ingredients works, and then I didn't realize I had to move the potion over the drain when ready. Also it's problamatic that clicking the cauldron restarts without warning, is easy to do by mistake. Very good submission though!
Drats, I thought I had fixed that restarting bug, but it just keeps finding new ways to exist!
Good point about the potion drain, I trying to keep the tutorial as brief as possible and let the player figure things out, but in hindsight I should've mentioned it.
Thanks for playing!
On further inspection, it seems there was a bug in the upload that disabled the tutorial completely! Sorry!
I agree with the other commenter, that the mechanic was really original! It took a while for me to get a potion!
Love the bouncing frog dude and UI animations :)
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you could figure out how it works despite us accidentally turning off the tutorial before we uploaded : p
The audio and graphics match very well. Original mechanic. The game feels very fun. Having to keep an eye out for the pressure gauge, setting up the vial position and keeping tracking of ingredients while some are randomly added feels a lot like it is OUT OF CONTROL
Thanks for playing!
