Just know that you're awesome for making this amazing game in only 48 hours
I really loved your game :)
The Game was fun and the 3d Models looked super cool, the graphics as well. The Camera needs to be zoomed out and stay focused more on the human so I can see where they are going I think. But Other than that awesome game! Fantastic Presentation
This game is gorgeous (aside from the speech bubbles, though this is a jam so I'll forgive that because of how beautiful the rest of it is)! I loved how the gameplay was tied to the story. Great job!
This game is gorgeous! I really enjoy the idea and want to see the game developed more. I had a issue where I couldn't time the flames regardless of how I moved I did manage but it seemed odd, regardless great work.
loved the story and aesthetics! the gameplay-story interrsection at the end was really touching, and a lot of the fun was just looking at the really nice modeling work in the environments.
the gameplay itself is kinda tedious, especially when you're walking a long way after dying during a section.
are the levels based on the 5 stages of grief irl? noticed a couple similarities but not sure
Yes, they are! Thank you for your kind words!
Wow! There is so much stuff in this game! Great visuals!!! The game is a little bit frustrating but overall really good!
This is by far one of the most visually appealing games I've played! There is so much that's pleasing to the eye, and there was great use of shaders and post processing in this as well. The opening cutscene was beautifully drawn too. You also have some amazing attention to detail, with the music and environment changing when a new stage of grief is entered. There's some fantastic story to this as well.
My only suggestion is to have an indicator to know when you're too far away from the girl, you could do something like have the light-link thing start to flicker when you're getting too far. Sometimes I would accidentally travel off too far and have to reset the stage again.
Overall you have some amazing stuff here, there is so much done well with this one. I know and hope this one will do really good!
Really impressed with the visuals! And you had time to put in colored cut scenes, which was great! I liked that the story was integrated throughout the game, really felt the pain of the girl with her thoughts!
The graphics are super impressive. The music is also quite good. The lanterns following you is a nice touch. I did find the timings a bit tight on the third level, it's very challenging.
Really like it! The visuals are on point and the concept is really cool. Good job on making a story and dialogues on top of that!
I'm a little confused about how to pass the fire walls, but this is visually impressive. Amazing!
Models are just amazing, good job! I found a game a little bit too slow at the beginning, but it was quite nice to play, despite that. Awesome work, knowing that you had only 48 hours!
Good evening,
it is quite obvious that this game lives through the amazing graphics. Maybe I wasn't able to appreciate the programming features all that much because they were overshadowed by the lovely art style. It's pretty nice getting a tutorial running through the level and the rather unique game concept is pretty amazing as well especially tied with the graphics. I sadly didn't get to play much of the level because I was consumed by the firewalls since the character was a bit too slow in my eyes. I understand the use of slow pace here and it makes part of the atmosphere but therefore I couldn't play any further as it took me 3 minutes, trying to surpass the flames, failing miserably :)
Would love to say more about the game but this is sadly not my type of game, well done in any case!
Going for 3D in game jam is such a challenge GG !
Very nice graphics considering the time limit. Well done!
Despite WebGL issues on my machine (not the game's fault) I actually thought it was really beautiful and well made. The premise is nice and the execution is well done. I only think that the pace of the game was a little slow, and wish it had a "fast forward" button.
The artwork in the introduction really is stunning. I love the concept, it feels very well thought through and actually takes the player by the hand in a way that isn't too punishing, allowing you to learn the controls. Very good progression, very stylish look, the audio made for a really captivating atmosphere... Yeah, this one is worth playing ! :D
Amazing game with beautiful gothic art and feel. A lotta love and heart went into this and it shows. It's a bit sluggish at times, such as when you die and have to wait a good thirty seconds before getting to the meat of the level again, but the essence of a fantastic and emotional indie game is here and its very impressive.
What a neat idea! Obviously a lot of work went into this one, the visuals and feel of it all were lovely. Smooth introduction to controls, too, good progression there. I ran into a purple pillar the first couple times that didn't seem to go away and kept killing my partner, I may have simply missed something but it didn't seem like waiting it out/controls were getting rid of it (WebGL). Very cool entry.
There is an orb above it that will turn it off!
Thank you for your kind words! :)
Ohhhhhh that makes sense, thank you!
Really like the art, cool idea!
Thank you! The artists really nailed it this year!
