How does your game fit the theme?
You get stronger by physically joining multiple ships together. Sometimes you have to let one of them go. Some of the enemies are also joined together.

This was really addicting! The mechanics and gameplay are great and it’s made even better by the satisfying audiovisual feedback when you destroy ships. Good job on this one!
Really intriguing risk/reward mechanics (choosing firepower over speed and whether or not to release a crew member). Might be interesting to try and tie health to crew members (maybe collecting/jettisoning crew members also adds/removes hearts). A very fun take on a shoot-em-up :)
Very solid game! Easily the most intense game I've played so far (in a good, adrenaline pumping way). It's quite loud, and would greatly benefit from a volume slider, but that is my only main complaint (and being a jam game, that's an understandable point). Spamming the fire button is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than holding it, I don't know if that's intentional, if not, you should look into that. I also would have preferred WASD control, as that's what I'm used to, but it didn't hamper the experience at all. Really great job with this one!
A very polished game for a game jam!
I really like these mechanics and it fits the theme well. The idea to make the player choose between fire rate and speed is very clever and a risk-reward system, because you need to think carefully if you are throwing away a ship or not.
Really like this one so very good work!
Love the mechanics ! It's smart making you choose between speed/ firepower/ special to keep the balance. Had a lot of fun playing it. I didn't manage to beat the boss (too hard for me).
The visuals are very nice and very polished for a jam game. Kuddos on that !
Great work ! :)
That was awesome ! The music is really well done, the concept is great, the game is fast paced and embrace the theme... Very, very well done, your game is a must-play for this jam !
This is awesome!! 🏆 The risk/reward system of additional firepower slowing you down is ingenious, and the whole thing is presented so well. The only thing missing is a scoring system.
Very nice looking and well polished game. I enjoyed the main mechanic which fits the theme perfectly and has very good execution. Overall, I enjoyed this game and had a blast playing it.
This is a really great finished piece! Simple but deep mechanics. I simply can't stop!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing game. I would love to see it expanded. Reminds me of platypus
Great game, great aesthetics, great idea. One of the best games I've played including one of the best soundtracks :)
This is an amazing game with a fantastic mechanic that is easy to understand with beautiful but simple art and amazing sound but most importantly it's fun!
This game looks and sounds fantastic! However, mapping controls to Z and X while binding movement to WASD is super awkward to play, often requiring players to remove fingers from movement to do other actions. When that action is fire, an action that wants to be held down, it becomes almost unplayable. Using another hand doesn't help either because it just gets in the way and feels uncomfortable. Using thumb keys like space and pinky keys like R Shift or R Ctrl are much more natural for controls. Or even mouse inputs!
Sorry for the rant. I feel really strongly about this because the game plays so well otherwise! It's colorful, snappy, energetic! I love it. But the controls really soured the whole experience for me. Great game though and quite an achievement in 48 hours. Don't let my negatives get you down. This is wonderful.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the game! Movement is bound to the arrow keys, WASD was a hold over from a previous build of the game. I’m sorry you went with WASD, honestly we should’ve removed that input method, or made it more clear on the side bar. Would recommend trying it with arrow keys, or using left mouse to shoot and right to eject, which was also another method left in the build!
Oh my god. I'm the worst. I didn't even try to use arrows. I'm sorry for being *that gamer* XD
Fixed my rating as I had made it under the assumption those controls were forced lol
No worries! Yeah that control scheme you were using sounds PAINFUL, def will make sure it’s not possible in an update cuz wow.
Awesome entry, loved the simple but clever mechanic using the classic "bomb" and "powerup" but with a twist. Lovely art and sound.
One of the craziest and probably most fun mechanic implementations of the theme. It was a lot of fun to throw out my teammates to delete all the projectiles and kill the entire screen worth of enemies a bunch. Though it was weird to figure out how to fire for sure it was fun once I did lol.
Though the auto-fire mechanic does feel a bit under powered compared to just normally shooting by spamming the key. Although it definitely became quite useful when you had enough teammates tho. Especially when I managed to have 4.
@EjectBombin excellently well polished and very juicy as well, very good bgm too. Nice job although I think there are too many enemies but very come together, but that's fine good game
Amazing game! I like the idea that you slow down and when you eject it becomes kinda superweapon lol. Good job!
Very good art, amazing music and sound effects, very polished and very fun! I'm going to make a space shooter for steam and I'm going to base it on aspects of your game so I'm bound by that! Great job!
Great game! i love the art style and the retro arcade feel! Great work and would love to see more games from you! My favourite game from the jam!
