I escaped my fate by clipping through the floor :D
nice game like the small puzzle element of it
Wow, really dig this game! The art is good and the music sets a great tone.
Quick and fun, but I had collision problems and ended up under the floor many times 😅
Loved this! The presentation is really nice and the weight of the boulder felt satisfying and fun. The game matches the theme really well, I could definitely see myself playing more levels of this.
Really good idea! And the presentation is beautiful, nice work!
It's fun, but it's also really janky. I got a fair bit of the way through trial-and-error, which felt rewarding, but it definitely needs a checkpoint system. Not going to lie, though, watching your character walk in mid-air with a great big boulder behind him is pretty funny.
This seems to be polished. I love the physics of the giant rock. Like others have said, it feels weighty and that's a good thing. I can feel the struggle of the character pulling and pushing the rock. It can be annoying and frustrating too! lol. The puzzle is quite challenging, and bruh, please give me a freaking checkpoint! LMAO. The graphics on the other hand gave me nostalgic vibe and I like it. Good job.
Thanks! We can't take too much credit for the graphics as we used an asset pack for 85% of the things we used, you can find more details on the itch page.
Really liked the concept and i think this has some real potential as a proper game with some post-jam updates polishing. The visuals were lovely with matching audio and the gameplay felt smooth.
Great work!
Fun concept ! Simple idea and an effective one. The physic is a but wonky with the player being too floaty.
It's a really fun game with simple but clever mechanics. It's also cool to use Greek mythology for the setting. Who doesn't enjoy getting flung to the sky with a boulder. The physics of the boulder is very well done and conveys its weight.
I think that the gravity scale of the player is a little too low. Not sure if it's intended but it is possible for the player to pull the boulder instead of pushing. As you have noticed, having instant kill when there's no checkpoint is a little too punishing.
Great job making the game!
looks really good and has awesome music. only problem was no checkpoints, i had to restart twice and got agitated quickly. good job!
I love the concept but you NEED a jump and checkpoints, also the main character floats too much. I like the level design, though, and the pixel art is great.
The physics are pretty wacky (got that walking on air magic) but tbh it probably only makes it more fun. Good choice of art too! It could use checkpoints but maybe I just didn't make it to one 😂
Don't worry! There weren't any checkpoints. If we touch this game again they'll be the first thing to be added.
Good fun to go flying attached to a giant boulder but a unbreakable chain. I did find myself unsure how to progess at points since there was not really clear indications on what buttons and switches were doing. Liked the music and art style and when I was able to make progress had some good fun with my boulder friend.
Honestly, really cool, I also managed to break the game within 30 seconds.
I always liked the myth of sisyphus, nice to see a game of it :)
I had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the early puzzles a lot!
I enjoyed this concept a lot. Very unfair game, not a fan of random hidden switches and such but I had good fun yeeting myself down slopes. I found a couple of collision glitches but generally this was great fun to mess about with.
It's always fun to play games with physics.
I had some problems with collisions and stucked two times. But after two restarts I found this game really fun!
