Really cute little game! Great job.
Love this! The music, the graphics and the mood are very relaxing :D And the 2.5D aesthetic is so coool. I smiled when I saw you could join another flocks! That's awesome, really cute game :3
That's quite a relaxing game ! The graphics are really cool, with very simple pieces you managed to set a really charming mood. I wish there was bit more things to do but I enjoyed the trip anyway !
I really like the 2d 3d mix artstyle, very soothing game
Beautiful vibe! Very innovative game although a bit of a lack of depth gameplay wise. Cool game nonetheless!
A very simple, but beautiful game. It hurts me to hear the screech when my fellow birds get scared away by the Eagles :(
The way you combine paper mario esque 2d art into a 3d world is implemented very nicely, would have loved to see more variety of buildings in the future though. Great job!
This game has a real vibe to it. It was a little difficult to tell how far away you were from the eagles sometimes, but they didn't do enough damage for that to be more than a mild inconvenience. Neat concept and wonderful execution. Good work!
This is very polished and relaxing! Liking the minimalism and chirps when more birds join you. The way they move and flock is very satisfying.
Very relaxing and fun game! Its really amazing that you guys made the whole game, including art and music in just 48 hourrs
So cute, the adaptive music was a neat touch.
Very chill, kudos to the composer
A very relaxing game. Had a great time going through this. There are only a couple things I wish were different really, and one is very specific to me. Being partially red/green colour blind, there was a couple times I literally didn't see the eagles before it hit me. Not sure what would have worked within the single colour sytle you were mostly using but something to be aware of. The other minor point is I found the effects a little loud, distracting from the music. I wish they had been just a little quieter.
All that said, I did keep the game open the whole time I was writing this, listening to the ending music. I really did have a a wonderful time in those skies.
Thank you for the valuable feedback! We're sorry the game did not consider cases like yours.
I would like to fix this in a post-jam game update, since accessibility is first and everyone should have a relaxing time growing their flock back home.
From what I have researched, a Green/Purple contrast would work better with all three types. Could this have worked to your knowledge in your case?
Maybe, I'm not actually sure. It is something I only some get and I honestly don't look into it much since it does not come up as a thing most of the time. I suspect purple would help a lot in my case but can't promise anything.
We'll do our best to work on it in more ways than one then, thank you :)
I love how chill this game is. It's a great time. I forgot there was the ending, so that was a nice surprise. I like the meditative roaming around and collecting things, it's a rarer thing that it should be in games. Thanks!
I love the slow addition of instruments as you grow your flock! Really beautiful and evoked a feeling of growing epicness in me. Well done!
Some notes: The clouds on the horizon make it hard to see flocks that are far away, and I didn't realize what the goal was until I accidentally made it to the oasis. Also, I couldn't restart or exit the game from the finish...
But I really liked it, and you made great use of dynamic music. Way to go!
Really cool game! I think it's reminiscent of agario in terms of gameplay but I love the artstyle and the atmosphere here, and it indeed is a relaxing game.
So cool. Great music and such a nice little experience. Charm of a time. Can't really find fault because it's kind of boring by DESIGN gameplay wise :). May not be my cup of coffee but it is definitely still cool.
This was a lovely calming game with so great music. I would play it just to chill for a while. Also, the simple graphics are incredibly well done.
I left this comment this morning and then saw you'd submitted the game to me and said there was an endgame. So of course I had to see it. It was just as fun as before, and I'm glad I saw how it all ends. Thanks
Man this was an incredible experience, the building music, chill atmosphere, pleasing visuals, Katamari-style growth, and once again the muuuusic!
I love this game and didn't want it to end, I definitely think you could expand and polish this to a full small game release post-jam!
Great job y'all!
This game is really nice and relaxing. At first though i found myself lost and unsure where I'm supposed to go. I did not get that the yellow beam was the target and dismissed it as part of background environment. Also I'm not sure what scare button even does, because i saw no effect(apart from sounds.)
Is very pretty!
It is very cute, it is relaxing and the music fascinates me.
The only negative thing I see are the sounds, some are annoying, especially when more birds join.
But overall, it's very good, one of my favorites! <3
