Absolutely loved that "whosh" sound xDDD

Damn. Such polish! Even subtitles and voice acting? I wasn't expecting this from a jam game 🤣

Execution 10/10. Great job! 👏

Thanks Javi-Dev!!!

Laughed a lot to the worms-like voice! Even if it was a bit easy to play (2:30 on my first run) it was quite fun!

Developer

You are a pro gamer!! Thanks :D

Good job!

The voice acting is really the best part of it, the it blends in with the tutorial of the game was something that strikes me as really genius.

Fundamentally it's a bullet hell game, but the way it's twisted to fit the theme was amazing, I didn't expect to be playing reverse golf. Still, the game feels fair but challenging! Two things about the mechanics I liked - the shadows of the balls about to land helps me predict where to avoid, and the fact that the balls destroy each other lets me try to divert the red balls to crash into each other.

Developer

Love your feedback, thank you so much! Bullet hell games can be super fun, can't they ;)

Love the commentary, and great take on the theme!

Thank you bobbyem!!

Loved the music and art and the gameplay was really fun, and the sound effects and voice acting was hilarious. One thing I would change though is to implement a cooldown on the dash ability since you can spam abuse it.

Developer

Appreciate that feedback and idea!! Thanks!

I enjoyed it! my best time was 1:54. I really liked the concept and the music and the voiceovers just blended in naturally with the game! Well Done!

Nice sounds and voiceovers. The game is very fun to play with golf balls all around the screen!

Developer

Thanks TheSorrowRaven!!

I absolutely love that method of turning the tutorial into the golf hole talking to themself. Amazing job.

Developer(+1)

Hahaha thank you!! Appreciate that

Fun game! The voice acting killed me 😂most game jam games don't include a tutorial, and they suffer a lot for it. Creative way to teach the player how to move!

Developer

Thank you Josh!

Ooof. Busted! I came here because they commented on my game. Hope they also left me a review.

Developer(+1)

Hey SpellMender! Yeah definitely reviewed your game! Also you're probably the most thorough reviewer on here, you put me to shame!! Thanks for being a good example.

Submitted(+1)

I'm literally blushing! XD

I don't expect anyone to give the level of attention that I'm giving. I've been treating it like a full-time job, and I'm still averaging only 10 reviews per day, haha.

You are 100% right, leafo, thank you!! Account received the flag and I reread the community rules and realize the error - Lesson learned!

Really fun game! I love how you made the balls explode when they collide. Purposely destroying the red ones by getting them to crash into others felt extremely satisfying! I love how this was a reversal on both the perspective of golf and the win condition (avoid rather then get in)

Developer

Thank you Ian!!

That voice acting was incredible and the game was really fun! I love that the balls destroy each other, I had a blast trying to get the homing balls to run into stuff.

I am the god of golf! Bow down before me, I will make you a hole-in-one.

Submitted(+1)

The voice acting is a really great touch that I now think is greatly underutilize in jams! Makes the controls, mechanics, and tone immediately understandable. Great job!

Nice work! Really creative way to give tutorial info, although a little repetitive to hear it on retry. Particle effects and screen shake were at a satisfying amount.
