How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of being the shooter, you're the bullet. No gun-aiming, just bullet steering after it's fired. That's our take on 'Roles Reversed'

Amazing game! One of the best I've played in the game jam. Seeing a replay of your shots is such a great touch. I enjoyed it so much, my friends and I did level 6 over and over again until we could hit the last guy by curving the bullet around:

Developer(+2)

haha omg that's awesome! I didn't even even know you could go around that way and I made the level XD. So glad y'all enjoyed it!

I took me way too long (more than 40 shots) to figure out you have to hit the green computer on one of the levels...
aside from that, a m a z i n g  game, i loved everything about it!

you even had time to implement keeping track of shots and a par count for ever level, something i wanted to do in my game but ended up leaving out since i was too concenred with polish

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Haha yeah we shoulda put in a tutorial that said break anything that's green XD

A really nice idea and concept of the guiding and after cam needed to get creative in some of them,
Still a good concept and execution

I'm honestly surprised you managed to make such a polished game in only 48 hours! The gameplay and the art, effects, sound fit so well together and the replay mechanic is such a fun yet coherent addition to this game.

Kinda reminds me a bit of bullet control minigame in Rayman 3, which I've always loved.

Also, I love how the menu buttons scroll up instead of the bullet indicator. Its a simple thing but really nice role reversal :)

Can I blame the fact it's a game jam entry and just absurdly difficult on the fact I am terrible at this game? Anyways the things I got to play were quite fun!

I could spend hours and hours being a bullet! And that camera movement after a kill? It makes me feel like when I first played Super Hot.

This is great! Really good gameplay.

SO! MUCH! FUN!
Boom headheadheadheadshot!

This is incredible. Not only did you manage to archieve an amazing 3d dreamcast like game style, but also to have such an incredibly engaging gameplay, which fits the theme 100%. I gave you the full rating in every category!

I just now replayed it again and still can't belive that this was made in 48h. My absolute favorite game of this jam so far.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We barely slept!

I'm blown away but what you made in such a short amount of time! It's really fun and super creative. I love the art too. I didn't hesitate to give it five stars across the board.

There is so much to unpack here. First I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! Brilliant Idea, solid Gameplay, fantastic Visuals, great performance inBrowser .... simply put incredible Execution.  Yes, there might be some glitches, you can escape the level, I needed over 60 bullets to finish the airduck level (here I noticed you can't skip the replays, and since I missed a guy, and I had 3 long replays back to back) and you can't shoot yourself. BUT for a GameJam, scratch that, for a Game built in 48h, this is out-of-this-world. Best Game I played this year, and I bought a few.

This Game is so good, that:

  • I wanted to leave a comment and rate it, mid game ( I didn't, I saw it through )
  • I usually Just leave 1-2 line of comment's, because of my english skills
  • First Game that I gave 5 out of 5 in each category, until now
  • Will play it again, right now

Wow! Really fun, and the replay mechanic is incredible!

I really enjoyed your replay mode! It's smooth and satisfying. The level design and difficulty is also impressively balanced and fun considering it was made in such a short time!

Really fun game! The 12 par gives something to strive for after learning the game's controls and mechanics. Sometimes the bullet felt a bit sluggish to rotate, and hitting some switches felt a bit too precise, but the game otherwise felt satisfying with the replays being the cherry on top. With a few control/reticle (and maybe camera?) tweaks, this is really polished!

Amazing

Amazing game, the replay especially was super satisfying, especially after playing the game a second time to try and hit par (still totally failed on the last level :') ). I think my computer should be plenty powerful to run it at a good framerate, and the turning radius still felt a little low (though not low enough to stop me from beating the game).

Submitted(+5)

Fantastic assets and great idea! It might be the web version, but the turn radius seemed super slow that I couldn't get around some corners.

With a bit of polishing and some more mechanics, this could totally be a full fledged game. Great work!

Submitted(+4)

I got stuck after the first couple levels (assuming due to low frames on my laptop, couldn't hit the barrel or the button) but the idea is super unique, and the presentation is insanely good. I just love how cinematic it feels and the attention to detail with small things like the animated bullet in the main menu just add so much to the experience. Great work!

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the comment.
Sorry  that you got stuck, we noticed that the "turn radius" was accidentally tied to the frame rate which had a negative impact on lower framerates.  Unfortunately we can not push a bug fix  in this jam :(

Developer(+3)

Thanks! Yeah sadly we learned about low framerate affecting movement after the deadline :\. Glad you enjoyed the polish! We had a ton of fun making it!

Submitted(+4)

The instant replay after clearing a section is always a treat to see. Very Superhot-esque, and the visuals are amazing for a jam game.

Submitted(+4)

This is really fun! super cool mechanic to move the bullet around haha
