I can't stop playing this? Reminds me a lot of this old flash game called Avalanche. Only thing I wish is that you could influence the 'player' a bit more, maybe it tries to (not) squash you? Really great game otherwise!
Nice, second place on the leader board - for now. Really fun idea, both conceptually and to play. It also felt really good to play, love that the AI playing started moving the pieces around halfway through falling in the later stages. Great execution!
Really creative take on tetris and loved how you added the strategy of being able to push the blocks down by jumping on them. The juice on the character was also great, awesome job!
Fun variation on Tetris! I enjoyed acting like a little helper to the actual Tetris player. I even managed to make it onto the highscore board!
The platforming feels satisfying, the squash-and-stretch and the VFX really elevate it. Being a Tetris derivative enforces a pretty simplistic aesthetic, but despite this the game's presentation still looks professional and polished.
Well done!
This was super fun! Break is such a great thing in hindsight to prevent getting boxed in. So fun. I definitely like your take on Tetris for this prompt.
Really nice concept and polished game! Loved the experience of playing it! Congratz
Awesome, creative game loop!
Great concept and nice execution! One of my favorite games of this jam.
I was going to try to say it was too easy or something, but I haven't got the top score, so I can't say that yet. Anyway, this might be the best game I played so far. This game could also have infinite replay value with the score and the leaderboard especially if it's online (I'm not entirely sure). Also, I just realized there's sound, so no comment for now. This game could easily become a full game worthy of purchase even in its current state, but here are some recommendations I would add.
1. Local and Online Multiplayer (competitive and cooperative)
2. Music (adding custom music could also be cool) [New Edit: I learned music was in the game and there is some music variety.]
3. Different aesthetic options for the game and the square (not super necessary but could be nice)
4. The different options from this particular game: Play Tilers Game (mathsisfun.com)
5. A game editor where you could edit some of the jumping height and movement speed as well as which tiles come in what order and stuff like that.
This is the tetris I need
Pretty cool! I love this take on tetris!
A little to simple but really cool, the score feedback with sound and sided screen work really well. A new version with more danger, obstacle or rules could make a very enjoyable game
Very fun and addictive.
Great game! The mechanic has that perfect mix of clever and simple. Great work!
Very well though and nicely executed!
Because there wasn't anything to read I didn't quite know what I was able to do BUT the game allowed to figure it out on my own. The animation of block was really good. The concept really clever. Great entry!
Great game, I enjoy this more than tetris haha
SOOO GOOOD! I really liked it. Keep your efforts up, and make more amazing games like this one! Thanks for giving me an amazing experience! No complaints. ;)
Unfortunately the web game has an aspect ratio problem, and the downloaded zip keeps getting flagged by windows defender. I wish I could see the web game in action. From what I read in the comments below, the game must be really smooth and solid.
I enjoyed that way more than I thought I would! Although the game became unmanageable in speed for me at the 2000 points mark, but that's probably just a skill issue hahaha. Great, unique game! Also really enjoy the synthwave soundtrack.
