This might be the best game in the jam, I'm incredibly impressed by the polish you put into every aspect.

i LOVE the intro animation that looks GOOOOD, however the game was a little bit laggy for me, idk if thats the case for everyone, that kinda made the platforming hard, but if i am the only one to experience the lag its a GREAT game

I have to say that intro animation was goated. Game itself is also great, although I feel like having to push the buttons breaks the pace a bit too much. The layers of instruments slowly stacking was also very satisfying. Generally, y'all absolutely nailed it when it comes to presentation!

This is WILDLY good. It feels smooth and the polish is out of this world. Way easier to play with a controller, so that's what I'd recommend! This was a pleasure to put time into, just great work all around.

AMAZING GRAPHICS

That's some great adaptive music! It's very satisfying to hear the song progression. Am I wrong to think there was supposed to be one last instrument at the end?^^

The game physics are not easy to tackle. Especially at the beginning, I had a hard time finishing the tutorial (the very first double jump gave me some difficulties). But once you obtain several bards, it makes more sense and the game is less demanding. Apart from some specific sections on the last level that I had troubles getting past, the game is very enjoyable. Congrats for making this neat entry!

Developer

you're right!! we did prepare a final music element after reaching the goal, but unfortunately the crash at the end means you won't be able to hear that in the version we submitted  😅

Fantastic game!

Few comments:

  • I could squeeze above or below boxes sometimes when I didn't have enough band members to break them.
  • Some of the edge collision on the towers from below isn't fun and can stop you from getting through doors.

But apart from those small things I thought it was great! Very good job.

Movement took a while to get used to, but otherwise very fun and polished entry.

I think my only complaint is that sometimes the orb reset when it shouldn’t have (I touched a wall, perhaps the ground detector was triggered), and sometimes I was getting stuck on the castle towers when I almost fell down.

Nothing more to say, great job!

Really fun and well polished. The theme could be implemented a bit better but the overall it plays really well, great work!

Honestly, I don't really know what to say, except wow. The sounds, the art, the VFX, the game feel. Everything is just superb. It blows my mind that this was only made in 4 days. Fantastic job, guys. I'm interested to see what you come up with next.

Stunning visuals, cute theme, great rifs on the Flappy Bird formula, there's a whole lot to love here. The game really elevated when we got to the bumpers, turning it from a slightly frustrating dexterity game into much more of a delightful puzzle.

Saw this on the stream and HAD to play it myself. Fantastic job, obsessed with the lil guys!

Wow, So cute.

Love the polish on this! I was utterly hopeless at the gameplay but I really liked the concept 🎵🎺🎷

Awesome, art, music and gameplay so much polished. Brilliant idea!

Thanks for making this game! I though about making an improved flappy bird so many times, and I was not getting any fun ideas for it. This is great. Love the characters, art, animation and music that builds up!

Wow, super polished! Dynamic music system was a super cool implementation and kept me wanting to go further. Nice game feel and definitely got me feeling Celeste-y.

Great little packaged game here. Strong presentation and equal levels of difficulty. Love me some slomo <3

High props for overall. The soundtrack the visuals, the gameplay and the enjoyment. One thing I like to point out is the jump+a/d trigger code on the beginning of level 3 "all abard". I've some issues with the jump there.
