Very creative twist on the theme, and great execution for only 48 hours!
Very unique idea and I definitely had fun until I got stuck in the level with 3 turrets and lava. I tried everything until I got frustrated and quit. It is also a little jank but so is my game and that’s understandable because of the jam(especially 48h)
wow, the gameplay is super fun and addictive! the level design is BOMB! Wish you all the luck!
Thanks for feedback! Glad you liked it!
Now imagine this game with textures and art style from your game!
Super fun mechanics for this platformer, I really enjoyed the crazy physics as I tested the limits of scaling things (although I will say it felt inconsistent which made it hard to properly attempt speed-running lmao). At some point it also definitely leaned into being a puzzle platformer. Overall an entertaining game :)
While we tried to make it feel more consistent it brought us to inconsistency :)
Also, great remark about leaning to puzzle platformer.
Which is not intended experience. It will help us to improve our level design abilities :)
I liked the concept but it was quite janky and the platforming was strange. Some of the mechanics were also not very clear like how the ambulances worked
Yep, should get more time polishing things next time :)
It's a nice game that has a lot of variety and is really fluid. Nice job!
Thank you for the feedback! You've did a great job with your game as well!
Creative take on the theme, and the game is fun! Making a 3D game in just 48 hours is great!
Thanks for checking out!
Making a 3D game without proper experience in 48 hours was silly. But it's part of the fun, isn't it?
Godot Engine <3
Creativity and enjoy game <3
Glad you enjoyed the game!
Attention to the Godot engine helps to build larger community, quality assets and plugins, shaders, lessons and such!
Cool to have a small little engine that could :)
There are some cool puzzles in here and they work pretty well with the mechanic. The visuals could definitely use some more work and I sometimes found it difficult to see the red bullets. This is pretty neat for 48 hours, so congrats on that!
Thank you for stopping by! I really hope to see your entry in the top 20!
If someone reading this comment and didn't check the game Scaleshifter - definitely play it!
A really nice 3D game made in 48 hours keeping the theme as simple as possible, it's a gem, even though I just took one and a half day what to built and you nailed it .
Best of luck
I invite you to play my silly game as well, if you find some spare time. It would be a pleasure.
Just checked and it's pretty solid for my taste.
You could make it a speed run game too, I think it fits :)
Creative use of the theme! Definitely has some bugs, but it's impressive how much you were able to do with a 3D game in the amount of time you had! Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback! Bugs are a reminder to take the scope you can handle :)
I like the game. Interesting gameplay. And good level of polishing.
Glad you liked it! I hope the level of polishing will be much more in future!
I tried to give this a go but i couldn't even get past the tutorial. What am i meant to do here:
I tried shooting, left click, right click anything i could but nothing happened.
Did green thing not resizing when you shoot at it?
No it did not.
That's unfortunate... It should play like this...
It might be because the file with physics engine was remove by something like antivirus... Or it's in another directory.
In windows version it's called godot-jolt_windows-x64.dll
The file had not been removed. I gave it a good few tries as well. It does play the popping sound that it does when rescaling the first sign, but it just doesn't resize the platform..
That is embarassing... I wish I could help...
Anyway, thanks for trying! I really appreciate that! Will follow your game dev journey!
Fun little speed running platformer, I was regularly rescaled to death for my lack of competence at it haha. Nice quick puzzles with clear solutions, (although I did end up in the cornfield falling forever on the second level cause I missed the floor) Nice work!
Death zone wasn't placed on second level :) Unfortunate things happening during the jam but we've made it time!
Don't worry about competence. I can complete levels only by breaking them completely :)
sorry totally forgot to post a comment, I really liked the feel of your game. I would have loved a bit more flare for the visuals but tje gameplay was great so it makes up for it
Thanks for comment! Meet so many nice people around and I'm glad every opportunity to hang out with people here!
Visuals and presentation are in our "improvement list" with many other things!
This was a really smooth game for such a short development time! I think it was an interesting take having a FPS style game to change the sizes of things, cool game!!
It's probably not a good idea to take a genre you've never tried to make for a jam.
But isn't why we like to jam? :)
Lol, yep, gotta learn and its nice to get a definitive end so you can't keep putting it off
Really cool game! Very smooth gun effect and fun chaos x)
Thank you for playing! This time we decided we want chaos :)
It's an interesting game! I liked the idea of being able to reshape the level, however I found myself confused by the inconsistent behaviour of some of the platforms, where I wasn't sure which ones would expand in length or scale proportionally altogether, although being able to scale the signboards was a funny touch. Great game!
Thanks for feedback! Means a lot for us!
Yep... Consistency as a whole is a good concept to polish :)
Glad you liked signboards! They could be pretty useful when trying to break the level!
Really enjoyed this one! Great concept pulled off well.
Hey, glad you liked it!
Very chaotic and fun haha, especially with the physics. Awesome stuff :)
Glad you had some fun! Chaos is what we brought to the table :)
