Lovely idea and great execution! There's a nice variety of puzzles in there. Adding a little bit of coyote time would help the movement to feel more satisfying I think.
Thanks for playing! Sorry the bad controlling frustrated you orz.
That was fun! Great work!
Thanks for playing! Glad you like it!
Very fun! I like the idea, it's a little hard to get used to, but once you get it, it's a fun experience!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it! hope your game gets in the 100!
oh yeah give it to me baby 10/10
I'll give you whatever you want :D
Great little puzzle game! I loved the look and feel, and the mechanics were introduced well and gradually. Very interesting that something which might seem like a glitch was taken to be an important mechanic! Probably my favorite I've played so far.
Unfortunately, however, I couldn't get past level 14, which it seems is something others encountered as well. It was mentioned about "controls" and "skill", but I think the main issue here is that there are primarily skill-based levels in what at first appears to be a puzzle game. The controls are fine for the puzzling, and people who make to the higher levels are likely quite skilled at solving puzzles, just not so much at tricky button combos with precise timing.
I think it would work very well if you cut the parts that are dependent on quick, repetitive, intricate, and/or precisely timed button presses. These include level 9, 12, and 14 (and possibly others later on). For level 14, I think it would work if you just moved the heart to the center horizontally, while keeping it where it is vertically. For level 9, if you just cut the need to hit "D" again after jumping and pressing "A", it would be much easier but still retain the same spirit. For level 12, it would help if you moved the heart a bit closer or further down (while still requiring use of the pushing), or even had another platform grow out of the bottom-right corner to catch you as you fall that would be good.
I remember Mark actually mentioning that he had the same problem with Mind Over Magnet, so ended up cutting the skill-based parts.
Other than that, though, I really liked it :)
Sorry to frustrate you with bad controlling! I couldnt make really good puzzles with the mechanics therefore tried to make up to it with platforming but got no time to design it well and just let go the bad controlling orz.
Thanks for you advices! They show how to deliver generosity without destroying the puzzle. I wonder why I just didnt think of them! This should be in my game designing methodology.
I'm so honoured that you played and enjoyed the game. Thank you for the feedback!
A very cool puzzle game, very addictive. Sadly, I couldn't make it past level 12 might be a skill issue. Do consider checking out our submission!

Thanks for playing! Sorry for the janky controlling frustrating!
Really fun puzzle game with a super unique twist! I think the bird chirping might have been a risky sound because it's the one that we hear most frequently due to jumping. Since it is pretty high-pitched, it might irritate some players' ears. Other than that, awesome work and a great game!
Thanks for playing! It's true the bird sound can be too frequent. Maybe I should have limit the frequency of bird chirping and replace it with other sfx! Hope you had a good time here!
Finally! A nice and creative platformer. Very, very interesting take on the theme this year. The artstyle was phenomenal, probably one of my favorite games this year. I think the controls work a little slow though. but other than that, 10/10.
It's so kind of you to say Finally! The controlling is a lesson taught in this jam. I'll definitily polish the controls and physics in my future projects! I hope this is not only a finally but also a To begin with!
What a nice way to put this
Suuuper cool implementation of the theme and makes us feel super smart by solving the puzzles! Well done!!!
I'm soooo glad you like it! You are super smart indeed for the levels are really kinda tricky : )
wow really nice and unique game. had fun playing!
Thank you for playing! I like your profile image and maybe I'll paint one for myself lol.
Great job on this game! Neat concept, relaxing atmosphere and overall the puzzles were well designed. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for playing! I'm so glad you like it!
Quite a pleasant puzzle platformer. The sound effects in particular help to make even the potentially frustrating bits quite calming indeed, though there are some of the puzzles where you have to click rather fast and the soundscape gets a bit too cluttered. Offers up an impressive array of levels with a rather pleasing set of aesthetics given the time used to create it. Wonderful work.
Thanks for playing! I'm really glad that you enjoy it! The controlling add up to the difficulty OTL.
I fell in love with art and sound design! Felt very special. The core mechanics are also very well done and polished; I had a lot of fun! Great job!
PS. The only thing was that the resolution was way too big and didn't fit on my laptop, so I needed to connect to the monitor to play.
Sorry to force your monitor to work lol. I'm so glad you like this game!
Love the gameplay mechanics!! The art style is also very nice!! Only thing is the borders and characters do clash with the background a bit on some levels, making it hard to see what you're doing.
In terms of the sound design, the ambient sounds is perfect and the piano sounds for the movement of the boarders wasa also very nice and unique! The only thing I'd change is for jumping- I'd switch bird chirps to being a part of the ambience/background noise but less frequent, and having a more standard jumping/landing sound. little air swoosh or something like that
Sorry that I let go the chance to polish the graphics orz. Thank you for providing with the method to improve the sound!
Cool game mechanics, clever level design, stylish effects. A lot of levels. I find nothing to critisize or improve. All in all a very good game.
I'm so glad you like this game! Hope you had a good time here!
Very cool mechanic!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you like it!
Very cool game, it does make you think outside the box, and the art style is pretty neat as well. Nice entry overall!
Thank you for playing the game! I hope you've had a good time!
holy, this was cool
I love everything, the graphics are phenomenal I really wanna learn how to be able to make this sort of smooth half-reflecty kinda graphics someday. the level design is pretty cool for the idea, everything is cool!
The sounds can get a little repetitive, I noticed that you use multiple sounds for each instance, but even more, you can randomize the pitch and length! (this is nitpicking because I literally don’t have any feedback this was great)
Nice entry (:
Reeeally gald you like it!Hope someday i can come up with genius ideas like you!Maybe i can share with you the psd or code in some way if you like it!
I got no time for sfx orz. but i do want to create a game where the sfx is well set and music not often used (like pentiment)
One of the best vector graphics game I've seen in this jam. I really loved the physics and the mechanics of the game. Sound effect are also nice.
Best of luck
Be sure to play and rate my game as well, it will be a pleasure.
