How does your game fit the theme?
You build a REALLY large ladder to "scale" up to heaven! Also the voice actor said the thing!

So, the game presentation is really cool, and it’s nice to see such a quality voice acting in a jam game!
The gameplay… well, I used my laptop’s touchpad to quickly tap with 2 fingers, and I still wasn’t fast enough to not get pauses between voicelines. Which means that if a person plays casually and with the mouse, they’ll spend a lot of time just sitting and clicking with nothing happening.
I would probably change the gameplay to something more engaging and less click-y. Maybe you need to time the clicks on some rhythm. Or maybe when you build a segment it creates a small zone at the top of it, and you need to click and hold on that zone to build a new segment. That way you would also need to scroll up as you build, instead of just clicking wherever.
As far as the experience goes, it was pretty fun. Good job!
The pauses in between voicelines are entirely intentional! Thanks for the feedback!
Fun experience, story, talking , but the game part is a bit dry, a bit more game and this would have been awesome
The game does seem pretty dry, wonder if they have any water over there?

What I liked
The skeleton had nice well voice acted lines with good mic quality. The environment and feedback was quite juicy and there was enough variance that I didn't feel bored doing a very repetitive action. The top progress bar was a nice touch. The player feedback when clicking the ladder was also good with it shaking a little.

Overall Thoughts
With such a simple game and premise and clean execution I find myself in a hard spot when attempting to figure out what to critique or give as for advice. If you held a gun shaped bone to my head I guess I would have to say that the Itch.io page could use a bit more of a thematic face lift, I would have maybe liked to seen it with a hellish background and a paper-style wanted poster foreground to fit the more western aesthetic of the skele man. Overall a pretty fun time.
Ahh... finally a game good to the bone. The skeleton's dialogue was quite funny
my hand hurts.
4-stars on all
This is a funny concept xD The dialogue from the skeleton was entertaining.
I don't have a bone to pick for this one. Good work.
This is just so funny, i wish i did more voicelines in my game.
Well done ! Keep it up !

Great game ! Quite unique in its concept, liked it :)
Cool game! It has nice music and graphics. Good job!
i did it... but at what cost?
(spoiler: some mice may or may not have been hurt)
That was interesting! No idea who your voice actor is, but they need a raise!
If I could nitpick it would be to get at least something at the end, being a voice line or a revelation to regard the player.
The writing was funny and charming. Thanks for working on this!
Nice game. The gameplay was a little one-note, but I enjoyed the visuals and atmosphere. Adding some auto-clicking skeletons would be awesome! Keep it up!
I actually thought about adding some friends but I didn't want it to be too like a normal clicker game, where you are just ravenously trying to make the number go up! I thought that by being by yourself and slowly building the ladder, it kind of adds to the mood.
That makes sense, I think it does add to the mood but I am still curious how you could expand the experience.
I definitely also got hand cramp but it was a nice experience! Nice music and an interesting vibe that would be cool to see fleshed out as an actual game with more mechanics. Always here for bone puns tho
Oh god the puns.
Setting that aside, I find the concept extremely compelling, and the 3D graphics in a 2D space work fairly well. One thing that might help make the depth effect even more polished would be to darken or fog the background as it gets further away.
You also might want to have an alternative input method for accessibility. I wasn't able to get to the end, because the repetitive clicking started hurting my hand. For some people, it might be fully unplayable. The scroll wheel with automatic growth of the ladder could be an option for that.
Wow yeah, I think the alternative input would have been a great idea. Even to just slow people down a bit who seem to have been trying to speed-run the game and hurting themselves!
I am a master clicker now!
Thank goodness for the progress bar, haha! Fun little game, building the ladder is surprisingly satisfying for how simple it is.
Be sure to check mine:)
Another 3d masterpiece, the concept of scaling upto the heaven is just mind-blowing
