Clever!
Cohesive art and concept as a whole, the platforming was a bit tough for me, I had to cheese a few parts by using corners to sling the player upwards.
Good work.
Thankyou! Noticed your comment got posted twice haha
Fixed!
Creative game, that takes on the theme. Well done! Please review my game if you like.
thankyou! I will try to do so!
Really cool artstyle and mechanics. Fighting enemies by changing size is really cool
Appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing!
thankyou!
Bloodborne level lore right here
LOL, thanks for playing!
Cool idea and interesting lore. It felt like I'm Spider-man + Ant-man playing it. Would love to see you expand this game into a full-fledged action/climbing game.
thankyou for your feedback, I love how you see two superheroes in one with him haha
using enemy design to force the player to use specific sizes to attack them was such a clever design, and implementing the ability to rebind controls and a starting cutscene in a game jam is wild!
Like the pixel art, overall cool game
thankyou!
Cool game , could use some more animations, and dialogue for engagement but nice job!
thankyou for your feedback!
I like the concept of only being able to attack specific enemies when you're a certain size. It was a little hard to wrap my brain around the control scheme (maybe making "u" the default attack button could be rethought), but I can see it becoming a fast-paced action platformer in the future. The character's movement also feels a bit too floaty, which affects the platforming and causes you to get stuck within enemies sometimes.
With a little more fine tuning, I think this game has the potential to be pretty great! Great work on the sprites and animations btw :)
Appreciate the feedback, thanks!!
Really liked the lore of the game, it added a lot of personality and the gameplay and visuals were very interesting and unique. :)
Thankyou for your feedback! I happy to hear you liked the visuals!!
Really cool concept! The controls felt good (although my tiny brain struggles to control size and move at the same time). I'd maybe suggest adding in a little bit more vertical range on the attacks though, even with scaling I found landing them tricky on smaller enemies. All in all really cool!
Thankyou for your feedback!
This was fun! Jump height and speed depending on player size gives the gameplay some more depth. Great!
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
I liked the concept and the level design. The controls were a bit janky, but overall was fun.
Thankyou for your feedback!
thanks for allowing me to help with this, it turned out great!
The game is really good, i liked playing the metalmonk a lot and i'll miss him.... :D
I've wanted to make a platformer like this at the begining but i found it too hard to make something cool with it but you did a great job ! So well done !
Thankyou! I'm really happy to hear Metalmonk is gaining followers to beat the evil robots :D
I really like the concept of the game, the mecanics, the art and the music. Beautiful game made in such a short time span. Aside from few bugs where i blocked within tiles i loved it :)
Thankyou! I'm really happy to hear you had fun!
I noticed an issue I ran into. Your sprite jitters as it moves. This was fixed in godot 4.3 if you turn on 2d physics interpolation.
Love the take on the theme. The main characters sprite looks sweet. Combat definitely needed a bit more polish, and the controls felt a bit awkward. I think some more work on the character controller would make this much better
Thanks for the feedback!
very nice concept and nice art and music :)
Thank you!!
I was impressed by the inverse proportionality between size and speed!
They really made it super fun to become small and zoom around right into a roomba, spikes and death :D that might just be me hahaha
