How does your game fit the theme?
The player attacks by rolling a dice. Depending on the upgrades they have purchased, when the die lands on a certain number it triggers a certain spell. As well the theme of the game is around a casino with rolling dices, flying cards, and roulette wheels.

I liked the art and gameplay concept. Maybe you should add more enemies, though... Nice work!
Thanks for playing! Theres actually 5 different types with the others appearing later in the game. You can see a gif of some of them + descriptions on the game page if you quickly want to see them
Ah, I see now... Thanks for the reply, though! :)
Fun game! I like the vampire survivorish gameplay, and that you pause and let me pick the next powerup. I think the game would benefit from a little more feedback of what face is landing up- because if I didn't know, I wouldn't have been able to tell what the randomness in this game was. Super cool game, good job!
The gameplay was nice, i like how you can choose different characters. The background music is also nice. My only concern is that the map should probably need more objects in it instead of it being a flat surface with some boxes. Other than that, it's a good game therefore you did a good job <3
The art is very nice, and I like that the cubes have this rolling animation and are faster than you, creating constant urgency. I think some juice (screen shake, sounds, hit effects) could help this game out a ton. I was confused about the powerups, what exactly did they do? Sometimes it would activate on attack?
Powerups activate based on what your die lands on when it hits an enemy. They deal some CC and deal a bit of damage that you can only really notice with the boss and high health enemies
Saw Clover in the progress pics channel of the GMKT discord! Glad I was able to play the game! Played at https://www.twitch.tv/hedgein <3

What I'd Like to See:
This game was super cute! And really challenging! I'm going to take another stab at it when I get a chance. Great job!
Great job with all the little spells and effects for them! The pace of the game could be a bit faster, because gameplay doesn't change much for first 5 minutes and even once new enemies appear they are not that much different from others we saw before. Waiting for a post jam update!
Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it

Great music. Great UI. A little unbalanced, gameplay loop is alright the spells seem unique and cool. Overall good job.
Ytegon, thank you so much for letting me play! The music was great, loved the UI and the special effects when using abilities. I think the level was a bit bare and could use more than just the tileset. Fun game and great work!
The music is nice and gameplay enjoyable. You also have 2 characters but it is hard to determine the differences. There are bugs of wchich I am sure you are aware. The thing that was most missing for me is feedback on hit and cooldown indicator for dash.
Nice Take on the Bullet-Haven formulae. Needs some juiciness esp in the bullet handling so the player gets a better feedback. Overall a cool entry to the jam.
rly fun game, a fid back on the enemies would be nice, but other then that is alot of fun, gj
VampireMonopoly-Survivors :OI like challenging games, I really enjoyed this!
Interesting vampire survivor type of game. Really like the character art and the fact that you can choose which character you want. Gameplay has good depth hypotetically thanks to the powerups, tho for some reason I could not get any of them to work, so maybe there's a bug. And the way you gain xp motivates you to go towards danger, which creates additional challenge.
Hey,
Inspiration from Vampire survival indeed ^^, that progess bar and the upgrades <3.
The game is nice, just the two things that felt the most important to change what I played (browser) :
-It felt like the spels of the dice did no damage? Even after poisoned/fire explosion, I still needed 2 hits?
-I'd zoom out a bit so we see a bit more what is happening, I don't it felt a bit too small
I didn't understand we had a dash at first and I had really hard time ruining out of theses dices, the game was better after I read the description :D.
Well done!
I like the inspiration from Vampire survival, its a fun twist. ;)
I wish it was an auto attack because i ended up spamming the attack so i wouldn't get hurt and then i accidently selected power ups.
Didn't figure out how to trigger the power ups with the dice, is it my dice and how do i see what it lands on?
Great work!
Edit: Also, if you gonna continue on this after the jam, change it to space instead of enter so we dont have move our hands after we die to enter a new game.
Hey, thanks for playing the game! You should be able to hold down the LMB to fire attacks and as far as I know that wont trigger the power up selection. Both tapping & holding have the same cooldown.
The powerups are activated based on what your dice lands on. Each powerup is mapped to one of the six numbers. The original plan was to actually show the dice landing on a number in game but we unfortunately ran out of time to do so.
And yeah I can definitely add space to select as well after we can edit the game
It's a fun game, but I think there should be more enemy types
There's currently 5 different enemy types in game with some only appearing later on in a run. May have put too much weight on the basic enemy in early game though yeah. If the game gets fleshed out more then there definitely will be even more enemies added
It's quite hard the first few times, but once you get the hang of dashing and actually get a few upgrades it's rather fun. The art is super nice. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
There isn't much visual feedback on what I'm doing. However, the art and music is fabulous! I love the look and feel of the game.
We planned to have the die visably show what was rolled on hit, but sadly ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback and hope you enjoyed the game!
