Gameplay mechanic was really clever! Really enjoyed the accompanying level design as well. Really easy to understand.
Would love to play a full version of this or speedrun my old times. It would be cool to see a "number of times rolled" with each level in addition to the time.
a very sweet and unique puzzler! Reminds me of some of the unique weird puzzle games on ps1, like kula world and intelligent qube. very nice!! : ]
Surprised to see a 3D game, reminds me a bit of PS1 games
as long as it's been since I played any...The perspective confused me a little at times, but I had fun~
Even if I threw myself off the edge half the time XD
Very interesting idea! the keys felt a little sticky at times but overall was super cool. I found the blurry graphics a little hard on the eyes but still looked nice. Great job
Loved the graphics, the idea is very unique, once you figure it out, super fun to play!
One of the most fun games I've played! the mechanic is so simple yet super well executed, My favorite part was level 10 where you could do a combo kill of 3 enemies using a 6 boost, it felt really satisfying and was set up greatly.
Good job!
Love this! Satisfying blend of puzzle and action. And I really love the retro vhs type aesthetic
This is pretty awesome, I love the low fi polygon aesthetic and it works so well visually, and you have music and sound to top it off. The only thing that confused me was how the dashing worked, sometimes I would dash far and sometimes only a short distance. But overall well done, loved playing.
A simple and fun little game, I really like the PS1-esque 3D design.
The dash cooldown was a nice touch, lots of tense moment when the enemies are near.
Congrats on finishing the jam !
Nice mechanics and nice level desgin!
Wow, this was a very nice take on the rolling cube type of game, at first I was a little confused but when I read the controls and understood the mechanic I was very surprised by how fun it actually was! The graphics are also pretty original and work for the game, reminding me of the classic facebook game Bloxorz. Well Done!
Funny you mention Bloxorz, it was a major piece of inspiration!
I'll be honest and say I was expecting a concept that I had seen tried and true throughout the jam -- get a certain number of pips on the top of your die when you reach the end of the level.
I was, very pleasantly, surprised.
This game features a really unique concept that the devs executed spectacularly and the concept is well-used in the levels, and the level design works to explain the concept early on (I wouldn't have realized that the dash was based on the number of pips at the top of the die if not for the 3rd level, which does an amazing job of showing, not telling). Stellar job!!!
When I got in I was worried it would be another one of those, but I was pleasantly surprised by the creative dash mechanic which works amazing for the puzzles. The aesthetics are beautiful too, and honestly my only minor gripe is that longer level start to feel a little bit cumbersome when you have to replay the start a bunch of time to figure out the end.
Amazing job though, this is the best game I've played from the jam thus far!
Love the aesthetics and how the graphics and sound fit together. Great idea and beautiful implementation. Please allow to dash multiple times without having to release the space bar in between. That got me again and again, I wanted to do another dash and then it got a roll, because I forgot to release and press space again. Apart from that, wonderful game.
That dash cooldown mechanic is one of the things we were unsure about, it felt necessary at the time but I agree that it makes the controls a little bit clunky. Thanks for the feedback!
Maybe the cooldown makes sense, but you should then only allow roling without spacebar. So while still in cooldown, check if the player is trying to do another dash, by holding the spacebar and if so, don't move at all. So an attempted dash ist not converted to a roll instead.
This was a ton of fun to play! I especially appreciated the combo of puzzle elements with trying to measure jumps and the combat system, although one thing I'd note is that the dash button had a little bit of a laggy response, which was kind of frustrating.
Awesome, great music and visual style. A surprising amount of levels too. Probably the best of the "roll dice block to get to goal" puzzle games I've played in the jam so far.
A pretty neat little game! I like the aesthetic, although for whatever reason, it appears very low resolution and stretched out on my end.
Very cool game, simple and effective! Game art and work with SFX at the highest level!
Loved it!
Best one i played so far
