Wow, i really loved the mouse controlling, it was really fresh and exciting, at least for me!

Wow! Nice entry :D I am not used to inverted mouse controls though 😅 That made it a little more difficult. There's something about this style of game I find really fun though. And BIG congrats on making all the assets with Godot primitives, this game looks really good, visually clear and consistently styled. Also ... you made this in 12 hours ._. wow

Thanks for submitting!!

Coming from the steering scheme in my game it was a while until I got used to it :p Simple yet fun and challenging, great visuals and sound!

It would have been nice to see this more fleshed out and with adjustable controls. Next Jam you should try to join at the start, I'm sure you could make something pretty cool even solo.

Wow O_o if you made this in 12 hours holy hell that's impressive !

I really like that this looks and feels like a mix between the snes starfox games and the pilot proving grounds from the old x wing dos games, and the geometric models you made look quite nice considering you only used shapes from the engine instead of modeling and importing :o

Gameplay is solid and easy to get into and it runs buttery smooth

I had quite some fun playing this one ^^

Very impressive for just 12 hours! The controls took a little to get used to, an option to invert vertical input would have been nice, but also just the ability to control with keyboard keys since the mouse took some getting used to. The concept is really fun though, it reminds me of the ship interior sections from Star Fox (or was it Star Fox 2?)

For a game done in about 12 hours I’m very much impressed! The controls worked as expected, and trying to get the carrots added an nice extra little challenge! Very well done!!

Submitted

Nice! You pulled a rabbit out of your hat! A game in 12 hours is not an easy job, and you've made it. I struggled a bit to get used to the inverted axis though. Congrats!

Submitted

Good value for 12 hours! As others have said, would have preferred an option for non-inverted y axis. But I appreciate the setting for mouse sensitivity. I only made it to 291.

Submitted

That's very impressive for a 12h game. If you told me you used the full 9 days I would've believed you. Only wish you could use keyboard or controllers as well (I'm not used to inverted controls on mouse) but it's totally understandable for the time you had. Congratulations.

Impressive for the short span you worked on it! It's pretty fun and the only complaint would be that you can reverse up/down axis control. Great job!

Submitted

I really enjoyed this game!
The only thing i can complain about is, that there is no option to invert the left-right controls, or turn off the inversion on the up-down controls, since one being inverted and the other not really messes with me.
One thing that i find really funny is that scrolling the mouse wheel can be used as an input method to shoot

I found it interesting so many people would like the controls in a different way. I just used the standard for flight control in games and I didn't realise not everyone would adapt to it (because not everyone play the same games)

Submitted

I managed a grand total of 103 meters! :D The reverse up-down controls did not really work for me. I just could not trick my brain into accepting it!

Was looking forward to playing this one, and wasn't disappointed! The basic controls feel really nice - I avoided the carrots as much as possible because I wanted to keep going faster! I hope you'll do more with this concept; it has tonnes of potential.

For some reason I can't upload images to Itch, so my best score is:

Died at distance: 1280.5
Died at speed: 5.93
Carrots collected: 2

What a fun little game.

And made in 12h, that’s incredible!

Submitted

Made it to 1139.

The gameplay is really fun. :)

Incredibly fun. I love endless runners. The carrots slowing down speed are a nice addition. I wish there was an option to flip the up/down control with the mouse, it kept feeling backwards in my head. But the game was solid! Great work.

Really fun, loved that explosion sound, and the music fits perfectly!

Submitted

Made it to a distance of 160. fun!
