wow, pretty cool game! the graphics are pretty nice, the concept works very well, and oh yeah I noticed pretty late that I could even shoot. I also didnt get that green objects heal you, until reading the description afterwards. Good job on this one!

nice visuals

the visuals are great! I only managed to survive 1:47

Submitted(+1)

Nice! Solid presentation. I think the difficulty might ramp up a bit too much at the end haha it feels a little impossible but great work regardless!

Cool little game. I liked the visuals and feedback a lot. I played it along with Winged stream and had fun with it. Nice polishing. The only thing is the difficulty increase is a bit sudden after 2? minutes. The rest was very nice. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Yeah the difficulty curve probably needs some adjustments.

Tight controls, great feedback, and really well-polished. It was really fun! I appreciated that the difficulty ramp gave me enough time to get used to the controls.

I could see myself playing this game for hours to be honest, very addicting!

i managed to get 1:57 - Alfie

Simple game but was very fun. I agree with others regarding a score counter, I'd say it's the only thing missing. And you went all in on that itch page! Bravo!

Submitted(+1)

This was simple but fun, feels really good. got 2:17 :D the page looks great too

I died with 2:05:48 ;-;

Congrats, not only in the game, but in the itch page too! Great work!

very hypnotic game, Good job!

Submitted(+1)

This game is hypnotic for me, like I stare at the white end and play only using peripheral vision. Very creative idea,3D games that run perfectly on browser with all that particles are awesome. Good job!

Really great game, what I imagine good jam game to be. Fun, good difficulty increase balance, just a chill experience all around.  I agree that score counter would probably fit nicely.

Submitted(+1)

Ah, that's nice and chill, fun to play for a bit. I would suggest replacing the timer with a score counter, that is affected not only by time, but by objects destroyed, near misses, and so on.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for the nice suggestion! I usually dislike score numbers because for me they don't mean much, and the goal of the game isn't to destroy asteroids, so I don't want to incentivize the player to do so by connecting that to the score. Near misses and maybe the amount of asteroids avoided or something similar are a good addition to the score, though.

I went in without reading first and thought I had to dodge the lights too. But after I understood the concept I managed to get pretty far and the game got progressively harder! My best score is 01:52:77

Strong contender!!! Fun game and nicely executed!

Great game.  Reminds me of Thumper.  I like the tight controls.  I was able to past in between blocks that were right next to each other by moving at just the right time.  Not sure if that was intentional design.

I marked down on graphics and audio because I feel like there could be more added to make the game feel even more epic.

Thanks for exporting it to a bunch of platforms.  Even smart phone!

Developer(+1)

It was indeed intentional and I made sure it's even more possible by also adding invincibility frames!

Graphics wise I love low poly, but I really wanted to play around with shaders and more effects and make it epic-er(?). Wish I had more time for that!

Music wise, it could definitely have more to it, it probably needs to be louder and more upbeat, and maybe speed up as the game speeds up.

Would definitely improve on these in a post jam update if I make one

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

A good looking space runner game with good mechanics : good job !

This one's a strong contender! The feel very much reminds me of Thumper, and plays like it too.

However, there are a couple of things to point out here. WASD does not have the shooting power, which I've learned that ARROWS do. The other control schemes may or may not also work properly.

Second, there seems to be a slight difficulty spike at a certain point. This might be a natural progression problem, as I have played "Super Multitasking" to similar effect.

Otherwise, you got a solid entry here!

Developer (1 edit)

Oops! So WASD did have the shooting power at first but I was messing with the controls and guess I forgot to re-add* that T_T oh well. Will definitely fix that in a post jam update! Thanks for letting me know.

I only found out about thumper yesterday when I showed this game to a friend and wow... Would love to add more effects to this! Very inspiring.

The difficulty is gradually increasing but the curve may need more adjustments or an adaptive system - something to think about for the future!

Thanks and thanks for playing 😁

Good Job with the game! The artwork and audio were pretty good, its nice and simple but with good game mechanics. Can't think of too much you could imporve on, solid submission.
