The idea is pretty interesting, I like it.

Bullets are more useful when they are closer because you have more time to aim/re-aim them, so a slower bullets upgrade could've been nice. A 'universal bullets stay closer' upgrade would've been a cool way to let players specialize in a stat too, idk

I like it, the final boss was kind of a surprise, made me go 'oh yeah, that was from the thumbnail!'. Cool game!

Damn I wish I could give this game a 6/5 in visuals. Very aesthetically pleasing with matching music.

The concept is pretty cool as well. Simple controls, hard to master gameplay. And the upgrades are pretty neat too.

I like the colour choices - white and green for player bullets, red and yellow for enemies. The brown bullets are kinda questionable, but it does differentiate uncontrollable bullets from controllable ones.

The little banner animations between levels and at the beginning of the game are also a pretty nice touch, gives the game that polished feel.

A fantastic game!

Edit: I also love the small screen shakes whenever you take damage or damage an enemy. It's that one little thing that would really improve the game feel but is also rather hard to implement.

This is one of the best games I’ve played in this jam. The mechanics are simple and easy-to-understand but theres a lot going on under the hood here. The rogue-like elements add a lot of depth. This was a ton of fun. Fantastic!

The game is quite fun. I did find that at least for me, the best way to play was for the most part to just hold down the "a" key and continually rotate.

The music fit really well with the game, and I really enjoyed destroying those little beans.

Well depending of the upgrade and what you want to do, the "a" key permanent rotation is enough yeah ^^'. Hard to balance everything during a jam!

At first, I was a bit confused regarding the best strategy for effective controlling. But once you figured it out it is really addictive and challenging at the same time! Great game with a nice concept!

Incredibly fun game, congrats! I thought it was very creative and had just the right amount of challenge without getting frustrating. Very good use of the theme, too!

I tryed to not make it TOO easy nor too hard/frustrating but it's hard during a gamejam to do the right balance! It could be better for sure but I'm happy it worked for you!

At first I went with a too epic music and I was like "nah, I'm not slaying monster with a big sword, it's way more peacefull". I'm glad that you liked it!

Really impressed with this one. Was having a lot of fun with it. The whole thing where the closer they get the harder it is to deal with them lead to some challenging situations

I tried to make it not too frustrating, at first the red one were faster but having one square quite close and you'd really have no chance to kill them! Happy that people felt it was a good challenge!

Amazing game. It took me a few seconds to re-wire my brain, but after it clicked, the shooting and aiming is really satisfying. The powerups are also great, and it everything uses the theme. Great stuff.

Ok, this game has a near perfect rating from me because this game is A W E S O M E! The only problem I had though was lag due to the visual effects and the red dots that stay on screen (not sure what they do) but great game in my opinion!

Yeah the red dots on the ground was kinda  placeholder for a better effect "on the ground to emphazie when you kill something", and well, 48hours is not enough to do everything :D. I guess I should have removed them at the end!

I'm surprised it's laggy, I have a potatoe computer and it worked smoothly! Could you tell me when it started lagging?

The overall aesthetic is super cool!

The gameplay mechanics/concept makes for a compelling game as is, the visuals could use a tiny bit of tuning (i totally did not remember to use the specials because i didn't see the counter during the first couple of levels)
