Good idea of autobattler, it’s good that we can recruit new units and form teams depending of our choice. The good idea is also to upgrade each unit after a battle (even if it was not battling). It looks like a simple game, but I think that it fits perfectly to audio sounds. Maybe this game is a bit too easy (I won at my first try), but it is fine for the gamejam project.

I’ve never played an auto-battler before and now I’m to scared too try them, although maybe not all of them are as addictive as this one… but I’m not gonna risk it :D
This is an amazing game and my favourite one so far; it was super intuitive and fun the whole time, the balance is surprisingly good and the audio/video is a love letter to late 80s/early 90s DOS games - full marks all the way.
If you turned this into a mobile game, I’d be all over it. Just sayin’ ;)
I don't even know what to say about this game. It's just amazing. It's fun. It has nice sound and textures. It runs well. No bugs or anything. Only thing I miss is some basic info on enemies. Maybe something stats with a range around the actual value (like Health between 50-75)
The game is so polished, it feels like it's a demo of a finished game. Well done! My personal favourite thus far
I could be extremely brief here, zip it and ship it ! This felt really completed and polished. Auto battlers are something I really like, I love picking at AI and thinking about how things could work in the back. Very impressive for a short format jam like this. It might need a little bit of balance, I kinda felt overpowered at some points, but within the scope of the jam this is perfectly acceptable ! Well done !
This entry quickly grabbed my attention. I was engaged from start to finish.
You really managed to create a full package here. Visuals, UI, Audio... everything felt like it belonged.
I was especially impressed about not only the variety of gladiators but also the fact they have different abilities!
Ultimately I think I would have liked a bit more of a challenge as there wasn't any fight that I thought I was gonna lose but I completely understand that in a short timeframe it's really hard to balance these things and I'm happy that you decided to leave it on the easier side for the jam entry.
Really impressive work, thank you for making this.
I'm very happy that Yum got his Ice cream. <3
I was very surprised by this entry. I have nearly zero auto battler experience, but had so much fun playing your game. I have to try again though to get my icecream :). The retro look and feel of the game is just amazing. Sounds are so well fitting. Very impressive what you achieved in that short amount of time. Awesome.
i LOVE autochess/autobattlers games, and i loved this, it's an intresting spin on the genre, of course it can be balanced and expanded, but the core foundation is really solid! Only one thing i did appreciate less is the fact that your melee warriors tend to overlap merging into one, so it would have been nice to have a system that prevented this, other than that, amazing entry! And i got the icecream! (I was expecting Lucy to be way more difficult, but i understand having it not too much punishing for the jam's sake lol)
Quite chill and relaxing, while pretty engaging, I enjoyed my time with it. Upgrading time was my favourite. It was fun choosing different stats and deciding on builds in a way ^^ Even after aquiring many different fighters, Yum was still my favourite as we’ve been together the longest xD
And yeah, visually they are all adorbs! I really like the creatures, and the UI layout you made too, it’s easy to understand and very inuitive.
I agree that difficulty of the game isn’t too high, you usually win fight after fight, but I don’t mind that personally. Just becomes a cozy game where I choose diff builds for my creatures and watch them fight +_+
And hehe, my favourite got some ice cream at the end. That made me quite happy ^v^
Nice entry, a bit easy on going maybe it need a bit of balancing between the creatures, in the end I used the same 3 for the whole game. Overall is solid and nice to play.
