Fun idea with the movement. Gameplay kinda confusing, but fun. Great job!
Nice game ! Very liked movement, at first it hard, but always fun. Though it's strange that some monsters "snap" on screen and fly along with me - it unable to lose them . Hm. Cool bosses! Game remind me about Risk of rain - you inspired by it?
The enemies that snap to you are intended to give you something you can't just run away from, you need to use finer movements to properly aim at them while they circle, while avoiding their shots.
And yes, risk of rain was one of our big inspirations. I've been wanting to make a game with roguelike items and difficulty scaling with time for a while now because of it.
O! If that behavior was intended - I don't have anything against it )
Quite an original control scheme. I couldn't quite get used to it, but it's definitely something new, and an impressive implementation of the focus.
Oh, and the music ROCKS.
The game has a lot of variety.
One thing is that it might be a bit too frantic. I found myself occasionally wishing for a break in the action.
The frantic gameplay was definitely intentional, but for 5+ minutes I can see it being a bit much. Maybe I could try to add a mechanic like the COD zombies nuke to wipe the map and give the player a breather for a few seconds until the next wave spawns.
I really liked this! I LOVED the start menu being able to play with the controls, I totally knew how to move before the game even started. I was confused a bit about how to win the level at first, but the controls were fun so who cares. I almost want to see this with controls to be able to shoot a jet pack to counter the bullet force as I think that would be fun.
Wow! Nice game!
Great job on this one the menu was creative and I played for a good amount of time great job could be turned into a roguelike well done. :D
A very fun game. I really enjoyed it.
Yoooo Really Cool Game, I Wish There Was A Way To Move Without The Gun, Maybe It Would Be Really Slow, But That Also Not An Objective Opinion Sooo It However You Want ;P

Nice game with an interesting multi-use mechanic. I like that you use the gun to shoot and move.
My only issues was that I really had trouble controlling the player character because of how fast the character moves around and the fact that by shooting on enemies you move away from them so much.
Other than that it was fun to play and I really like the main character design and pixel art of it.
Well done!
Great Game!
Cool game, loved the art style and way you implemented the multi-use gun. Love the Risk of Rain mechanics you added into the game too.
I did encounter an issue with the worm boss that it would lag my game for the first couple of seconds after it spawned in.
Overall, very fun game.
I have no idea why the worm boss lags as much as it does, but I had to hard code it to only spawn early on and not more than one at a time. When I tested the game with two worm bosses it could only run at about one frame every two seconds.
Edit: I did think those spawn limitations fixed the issue though, sorry if that dampened the experience.
2 people created one my favorite games in this jam , where do you want me to start? maybe from the amazing artstyle to the gameplay or the stunning unique idea for the focus you did an incredible job I don't of what I said says much but I'll 100% give you 5/5 for everything well done :D
We had a similar idea with shooting enabling your movement! Amazing how much you got done in the time limit. Very cool game
Great twist on the multi-use limitation. Died at the Strange Floating Disc Boss but I can see myself gittin gud as I retried, which is a sign a good difficulty ramping. Really fun game overall !
Awesome mechanics. I had a hard time shooting and flying, but it was rewarding when I could finally open a new chest for a powerup. I would love to have the map opened up a whole lot more to take advantage of those cool controls.
This game was a blast to play, I loved the move to shoot mechanic even though it took a bit of getting used to. I also noticed you guys took a bit of inspiration from Risk of Rain which is one of my favorite games. Great implementation on all those pickups.
My only two suggestions:
1) be able to open the chests with left click so I only have to use the mouse (it felt a little weird using my left hand just to press E)
2) The art style seems a little inconsistent with the player being pixel art and some enemies like the bizzare flying disk (which looked amazing by the way) being a higher resolution animation
Other than that, really solid game for a jam and I hope you update this further!
Was hard a lot of fun, seems like it be hard to master for sure
This game is a lot of fun, but I really can't master the movement enough to survive more than a minute or two.
Holy cow this was a killer game. The movement felt a bit extreme, but that's just if I'm being nitpicky. The game is a challenge, applies the theme well, and is a great jam game with potential to be something more. Keep it up!
Soo ummm... This game was absolutely amazing. And thats an understatement. The controls were tight, and the action kept me entranced the entire time (and the only reason I stopped (making sure to bookmark the page) was because I had to rate it and play other games (and I definately should not have been playing it on a laptop)). The amount of stuff you got into it in only 10 days is unbelievable as well. And the difficulty was terrific.
On the graphics side, I was annoyed by the background being in such a different art style to the foreground, but thats just a question of preference I guess.
Oh, and the idea of putting a demo in the menu was great. Definately gonna steal that
