Damn is this frustrating. Still, good central mechanic.

Very interesting game, but also very difficult. The only two crowns I got were fire and earth, but I like them, especially the earth one is really cool.
I love how unique the movement is, I would love to play a whole game based around it!
I like the "landing in the right direction has X effect".
I was lost at first how I could possibly progress, but once I figure it out it felt better to play. Unfortunately I didn't get very far after I landed in some lava I called it quits, but good job executing the mechanic and finishing!
It was too hard for me to get very far but I'm super intrigued by the wall-sticking mechanic! I wanna spend some more time getting a handle on it because I really enjoyed the idea. Also the dark souls death text got a good chuckle out of me.
The mechanics of this are super unique! At one point I was able to ricochet of one wall and stick to another on accident, which was a sick moment :)
Also really loved the introduction at the start, gives a great sense of scale for the sense of the level :)
I think that the difficulty curve might be adjusted to be a bit easier to keep people hooked (I say this as a fellow developer of a game that was too hard this jam haha so I know the pain).
Great stuff!
Cool game with some interesting mechanics. It defiantly takes a while to get used to and is quite hard but I like how unique they are. The level design and other abilities are cool as well. I did feel like there were some moments where I fell off a wall or didn't stick when I should have. But other than that good work!
Had a pretty good time playing but the mechanics definitely take a while to master. Reminds me of Getting Over It a little bit, though less rage-inducing. I really like how fleshed out the world is. It makes me feel like I could explore for a long time without discovering everything, which I know is hard to accomplish in a week
Sweet take on the genre mash up, a jump king-esque metroidvania is such a novel concept. Nice player guidance too, learning curve was smooth with the placed guides in the beginning sections. Landing perfect on walls was satisfying and I definitely had trickles of sweat when at the top of a long corridor praying I wouldn't fall all the way down :)
Neat idea. I found the movement to be bit tedious, but i guess that was by design.
a lot more to it then I thought first playing, very difficult, but fun, good job
If you dont mind sharing, how far did you get into the game? I am trying to gauge the scope I should aim for next time I do a game jam. It took playtesters about 4 hours to beat with the fastest run of 1hour 20 minuets but I don't think people are going to put in that kind of time to a rage game lol.

This game literally saved my marriage. Seriously. bags packed, kids crying. Right before I stepped out the door my wife sighed and said, "ok machina20, lets play one last run of Crowns Of Power by bows on itch.io"
Instantly upon seeing the charming graphics, responsive controls, and beloved (albeit occasionally infuriating) frog protagonist, it was like we fell in love for the first time again. It really made me remember that I married my best friend. She really was that woman I fell in love with a lifetime ago. Crowns Of Power saved my marriage and my life. Thank you..... Thank you.....
