Thank you, we spent a lot of time polishing towards the last week and a half.
Trully an amazing game and one that could easily win, it felt really polished and I think its one of the best that I played till now implementing the theme and the spin. Also love the dead screens, and well, the music was a true master piece, congrats on such an amazing game :D

I liked your game a lot 🙂 One thing I think I look for in such boss battles is high-risk weak spots of the enemies; for example, hitting them at a certain time or part could deal more damage. Maybe it is the head of the snake boss, but if you touch it, you receive double damage. It could be a nice future extension 😊
we definitely juggled around ideas of weak points for the bosses but since the game is pretty chaotic and imprecise in its mechanics, we went against that idea.
Critical points were scrapped early on though it would've been so fun!
Just overall solid through n through.

Great job on the theme implementation, it felt very unique. The bosses felt tough (as I'm not great at bullet hells) but it was not frustrating. The sword felt better than the other weapons, it seemed like it did good damage and had good reach. Love the rouge like elements, you guys got a lot done in a month for sure!
Sometimes when spinning the weapon, it would stop spinning even though it seemed (to me at least) that i was having a good rhythm and not messing up the spin. I'm not sure if that was intentional cooldown, bug or human error.

automatically spinning is tied to your stamina, so that may be why you stopped spinning.
I'm glad you got to play our game, we scrapped so many rougelike elements cause of time so that sucks. Imagine what we could've built with all the original rougelike elements in place. I'll note your love for the sword
(though the hammer is obvi the best weapon of all time, not bias)The spin mechanic to attack is great, though it took me some time to know how to spin well. Also, I love the boss design, especially the 3rd one. Great job!

We did our best to create different weapons that garnered to different playstyles without making anything complex, I'm happy it shows! The 4th weapon is the outlier since we just couldn't control ourselves haha, but that's why you only get it as pseudo post-game content. Thanks a lot for checking our game out!
Visuals and Music is top notch, the way the lights follow you in the first boss, fighting the second boss reminded me of the destroyer of worlds, a nice blend of challenge with ease of entry. Pretty darn good game!
We had to get pretty creative with the visual polish due to the time restraints but I think we blended actual assets and in-engine animations + shadowing very well. A bunch of us are Terraria fans and so our Tiki-boros is indeed inspired by the terraria ones haha. So happy to hear we were able to provide an enjoyable experience, thank you a lot!

Thanks a lot for checking it out! We are very happy with the final lineup of three bosses we got in. We wanted to add quite a handful more but refrained from that in exchange of polishing the game properly. Here's hoping for post-jam updates!

The more bullets are on the map it also feels like a disatvantage to the enemy!

Very glad we could provide an enjoyable experience! We tried to add a lot of spins even to the design philosophies we used, especially happy with the fact we turned homing bullets into the ones players are more happy about seeing in turn of normal ones, and it seems it worked haha!

Oh man I really wanted to play the completed version for the jam. But the web version is not starting the game for some reason. I tried on both firefox and safari. Do you guys have a linux or a mac build?
unfortunately we do not, and we cant upload one on the page since jam has ended.
Small update on this, I'm chatting with swag specifically about this, here's hoping. I assume there's no way for you to play it on google chrome hmm?

Solid use of theme very good use of it
I'm glad you enjoyed our use of the theme, we tried to put a new spin to it.
(The web version wasn't working for me for some reason btw) Played this one before the jam, decided to try again with the new update. The mechanics are nice, great utilization of the theme, and deflecting enemy bullets is pretty useful in more bullet-hell-ish bosses lol. Nice work!
Sorry for the web version issues, the web build dies on certain pcs (we're trying to make it so it works on all pcs). Aside from that I'm happy you enjoyed our game.
Super solid entry! I am really satisfied by playing your game in every aspect! It is beautiful and the gameplay is fun. Sometimes I would just lose sight of my cursor, but thats skill issue. This is the best one I played so far, congratulations!!!!
Thank you for commenting! It was an issue we noticed right before release and we tried fixing it with the custom mouse cursor but I see it is still an issue. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Overall great game, i have a skill issue playing it though. I like the integration of the spin theme and the idea of the different weapons- more contact area versus lower damage. Game feel was also good too.
