Great Gameplay. The art is an absolute acid trip (in a good way), and the music is really good. Good job!

Developer

Thx a lot! :D

Developer

Thank you ADR! :)

I enjoyed this game very much! Was quite difficult, especially the last boss xD. Dig the visuals and sfx as well! Keep up the good work! (Also was the exe file supposed to be named SHITFINITY HAHAHA)

Developer

The name was intentional because I was frustrated that I couldn't submit and test it on time. Thanks for your feedback and for giving it a try! :)

Submitted(+1)

The game is quite fun to play. The graphics are beautiful.

The game system needs to be played several times to understand.

Developer

Thank you Arkman! :)

Very addictive game! The UI, art style, and atmosphere are really well done. I must say, though, the game felt a bit easy for my liking—I was expecting something closer to Warning Forever, where bosses adapt to the player's playstyle. That said, the game is still very enjoyable. Anyway, you did a great job. GG! ❤

Developer(+1)

Very good observation! Warning Forever was one of the main inspirations for this game. I’m sorry I couldn’t execute it at such a high level due to the time limit. I’m glad to see that there are others who still remember that great classic! :) Thank you for comparing it to that—I take it as a compliment! :D GG! ❤

I like the implementation of the theme, it was pretty good and innovative, and directly effected the gameplay! Overall, a pretty good game. Good job!

Developer

Thanks a lot GameCook! ;)

at first i thought this would be boring but unexpectedly got into lv6. need more variative bosses tho. prolly if you make the bosses and player smaller, then you can add more variation to it ? anyway, good job for making it!

Developer

Yes, as I mentioned before, that was the plan, but unfortunately, time constraints limited me. Thanks for the tip and your feedback! :)

Good game 👍

Thank you! 👍

Thanks for webgl playing: https://investus.itch.io/froggerslocalmultiplayersfangame

on your game, controls did not go up or down or no fuel stays at shields, but yours got Rated 2 too :) audio 5 stars and theme boss spin 5 stars.

Developer

Then you probably didn't play beyond the first level, because only there you can move sideways—on all other levels, free movement is allowed...

On another note, I'm not quite sure what you meant by "no fuel stays at shields," since there is no fuel in the game, only health. Could you help me understand that part?

Thanks for checking it out!

Submitted

boss was to strong for the first level, is it to collect for level 2, a big collection like a lot of fuel/items and later move the spaceship.

I tested your game, I found your game very beautiful, however I found that some bosses didn't have attacks that hit me while others were almost impossible to dodge, but the game is very cool

Developer

Thank you for your review!

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to fully develop the bosses after the second one, so I’m just glad I managed to submit the game in time.

Thanks for your kind words and suggestion!

The art and music in this game are absolutely wonderful, the gameplay is also very consistent and fun

Thanks a lot Jozevald! :)

This was a very unique entry. I liked the art style, and the music fit the game well. The one critique I have is that the majority of the bosses can be approached the exact same way, so it starts to feel repetitive. I think a way to fix this is to have less random projectiles falling down and more unique attacks that cover more of the screen. I understand this was a gamejam setting so that was hard, but nonetheless this is a cool game that I want to see worked on more. I really enjoyed it, so good job.

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! And yes, what you pointed out is a real and existing issue, which unfortunately arose due to the tight time limit. I appreciate your suggestion, and if I get the chance, I’d love to consider it in the future! I truly value your opinion and the advice you’ve given. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the game as it is. Best wishes! :)

I really enjoyed playing this game, found it very fun! I like the disruptive visuals, pretty interesting

I am sorry. I have a normal phone. So I will not be able to play your game. Because of this I will not be able to give rating.

Developer

Hey Adn!

Normal phone...!?

How did you upload your game?

My game was made for Windows, not for mobile,

so I understand if something doesn’t work technically,

but honestly, I don’t quite understand the situation - sorry! 😅

Can I help you in any way? 😊

It is a cool game. It arts and visuals are very appealing. But a problem I had with it is that I could not exit. The only way I could exit was by force shuting down my computer. Mabye, This because of the computer itself.  Another thing is that  the exe is name SHITIFINTY. But Otherwise it is a very fun game.

Developer

Thank you for your review and kind words!

What you mentioned is not your fault. I'll attach an image [white info box, point 2] with more info in a moment, but in short, I just didn't have time to fix it before the deadline.

As for the other thing you pointed out—believe it or not—it was intentional! 😆 At that point, I was so deep into the project, so invested, and yet I couldn't implement everything I wanted at the level I had envisioned. So in the end, I just thought, YOLO, this will be the name, and whatever happens, happens!

Luckily, thanks to all of you, it seems to be going in the right direction! 😃

I really appreciate your valuable and helpful feedback! 😉

I love the details you put in the messages between levels!

I had a lot of fun, well done!

Hey there!
Considering the amount of time you had, this feels very well polished! The game plays smoothly, the graphics are wonderful, and I love how tongue-in-cheek it is about itself and the jam as a whole.

My only feedback would be to grant some space between the boss and the player - numerous times I died simply because the boss was sitting on top of the spawn point lol.

Overall, great game! I had a blast playing!

Developer

Thank you so much for considering the limited time I had when writing your review, and for your kind and encouraging words. And hmm... self-irony! :D I love that you pointed this out because, honestly, the entire two weeks of development felt like that. I passed off my actual job to someone else, went to bed at 2 AM, woke up at 6 AM, and had no idea what I was even doing anymore—I just wanted to submit something. Then I filled the game with all sorts of text that reflected my thoughts at the time and my overall life situation. I figured others might get a good laugh out of it while it still represented my reality. :P

And got it! You're not the first to mention this issue, so I'll definitely keep it in mind if I ever get time to work on further updates after the jam. Thanks again for your thoughtful review! Wishing you all the best! :)

I'm really impressed by the level of polish this game has!

Handsome. I usually don't like spaceship games that much. but this one has interesting mechanics,

well-managed controls although it doesn't have gamepad support (too bad, vibration would have been great).

beautiful VFX and spot-on SFX. All in all the bosses are very simple, you just need to know how to manage them

(I left the mouse pointer in the center of the screen and then only used the arrows and space to shoot continuously).

the only boss that gave me problems was the last one. overall except for the first boss (its concept is truly wonderful),

the others were quite repetitive (a shame), but given your lack of time they all came out without imperfections.

I felt great passion in your writing on the game page!! I'm glad I received such a good review from you.

Your game is very reminiscent of the arcade shooters of the arcades of the early 2000s, really well done,

for the moment it is the only game of this jam that I managed to complete to the end (I didn't manage to do it with mine either ahahahaha),

perhaps you could have done even more to fit into the spin theme (but I also just sketched it out) and

then the important thing is that the game is fun and this is! Well done!

PS.: a bug i've encountered : the exe i've downloaded is named SHIT-finity.....

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your long and detailed analysis, which highlights various aspects of the game from multiple perspectives. Seriously, if I ever have the time, I will go through these points one by one to make improvements and release new updates! It’s always a great feeling to communicate with people who take this whole thing just as seriously and pay attention to the details. At the same time, I also really enjoyed and smiled at the humorous elements in your review! :)

Thanks for pointing out the name issue as well. To be honest, that was intentional—when I uploaded the game, I was frustrated with myself and the situation because I couldn't implement everything the way I had originally planned within the given time. I ended up uploading it without testing, pretty much at the last minute. That’s why the name is what it is! :D

Thank you for your kind words and for your analysis!

Ps.: And yes, I wish I could have done even more within the time limit! :P
