There's good weapon variety, each one's interesting in it's own right and having to roll for them keeps the fights interesting.

The narrator introducing the bosses is a neat way to hype up the fights, but it gets old having to wait through it each time you respawn.

It would be nice to have some air control, I think it would make the movement a lot more intuitive, especially since you implemented wall running (very cool btw) and designed the last arena with moving around a lot in mind.

Its my first gamejam and I got a little upset that the only way to compete its to create a light website game, usually 2d. The games like this one, dont have a chance and its not fair.

Ok, this game isnt perfect, but I feel like this is more challenging to make this type of game, and this type of game will sells more in steam, than all of this web minigames.

Going to feedback:

  • I like the idea of no crosshair, it makes every shot more challenging, requiring to synchronize where we want to shot and where we are thinking that we will, something like in kingdom come archery. Its easy to see the projectile, and this makes fun gameplay loop.
  • I like the visuals, especially that it doesnt feel like a minigame, but a demo version of bigger game.
  • Shot shoud is not synchronized with the moment when the real projectile shot. Simply, every click make a sound, but there is an cooldown between the real shots.
  • Fata error happen on the first event, but its possible to skip that
  • Too many important text to read. Simply put me into the battle and give me short hints. Let me figure out things.
  • Bosses are too easy, I can avoid most projectiles by simple "A" "D" movement while shoting, no need to use all of this level.

Over all, its fun to play this type games, and I Enjoy it.

thank you for your feedback. This types of reviews are gem, cause they name every pros and cons of my project. But I don't understand what you meant by creating a light website.

Oh sorry, it was late hours when I write it.

Simply check submitted games and compare html builds vs heavy UE5 builds with requirement to download.

I realized that we have no chance to compete, no matter how good our games will be.

Sorry, it happens sometime.

I liked the atmosphere of the game a lot and changing weapons is a fun idea too, kudos!

Really love those visuals and models! This game feels really fun to play and the aesthetic of it feels awesome! really great work!

(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you could rate and give me some feedback on my game! I'd really love to see where I can improve for the future!)

Developer

sure, why not

Linux user here, unfortunately the game runs through proton (‘emulation’ layer) but crashes at the start of the first level :c

But the game looks promising!

Developer(+1)

I'm sorry, i really didn't think someone plays on a linux. Maybe in the next updates, i will add the support.

Submitted

Oh that’s very kind, I hadn’t noted it to ask for one :x Most of the time I manage to run windows games with wine or proton (Although I much prefer if there’s a native version)

The art style is really cool. Great Job. I loved the neon lights and the cyberpunk type environment. Great job. I loved playing your game.

Nice project! Art style is very cool, congratz. The enviroment and neon lights reminds me of somekind of cyberpunk universe. Music fits well to the game pace and overall gameplay. There was some minor bugs that lead to crashes. Something negative that got my attention was the shooting SFX triggering even when nothing was fired, the doors were a bit weird also, sometimes they didn't open when I get close or shut when I was trying to pass them.  I missed something to tell me that the game has ended after beating the boss, I didn't know if that was the end or else (or there were other rooms?). But overall I enjoyed a lot, great work! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I'm fully aware of bugs. I just didn't have time to fix them, sorry. But after game jam, i will fix all. Thanks for reviewing.

i really like the movement and the visual but it sometime crashed

Visually great. Feel like in Tron movie. Plus its 3d!?

Please help rate my 2d duck game. first ever game jam

Developer

Hi, it's my first game jam too. Did you rate my game? Because as i see it still has 51 reviews, as it was.

Submitted

oh it did not save. Should be ok now right?

Developer(+1)

i rated your game few days ago.

Very cool concept! I like the music and the feel of the arena.

Like everyone mentioned, a crosshair would really help in contrast to the dark. A feedback on the enemy for each hit would help sell the impact player does. Really like this entry!

Developer

Thanks, i thought about adding the crosshair, but then decided that player needs to feel the trace of weapon. Maybe i will split game with arcade and more realistic modes. Thanks for reviewing.

These visuals are stunning, very awesome! Music is good too. I would have liked to have a crosshair to aim properly.  Also, I don't know if I'm the only one but I felt the camera movement and rotation is too sensitive, it feels disorienting and I did not like it personally. Besides that anything else is pretty good overall. I liked that the bosses aren't that hard and as I said before, the visuals are very good, this feels like an AAA game. Good game!

Developer

Thanks, i will add some changes after game jam.

Visuals look really cool, i dig the whole nightclub/bar aesthetic :) music was a vibe as well. As some other people said, I noticed there wasn't a crosshair while playing, which made it very hard to aim properly. But I still had some fun playing this. Good job!

Submitted(+1)

I loved the game!!! The visuals are fantastic! But I think adding a crosshair to know where to aim would be a nice improvement. Great work!

Submitted

Cool, I liked it.

It's frantic and fun, I really liked it, the graphics are really cool too

I really loved the game mechanics, very fun, at one point the game crashed, but I believe that fixing small bugs will solve this! Congratulations on your game!

loved the game

The graphics are beautiful and realistic. I feel like I am in the world of the movie Bladerunner. I have played it many times because I encountered many problems, such as the mouse cursor not show, making it impossible to click anything, the door not opening to go to the next level, when I died, the text "You have defeated" appeared 2-3 times in a row. If many bugs were fixed, it would be  game that worth to  playing.
