The increasing difficulty for each boss was well done. Cute art and fun sound effects for the attacks! I think shooting up and down would be handy especially for spinning sections. Well done :)
It was fun to play, I like that the bosses aren't that hard. It has potential.
The pixel art in this game is awesome and I love the player feedback! You've got good sound effects, screen shake, visual effects on damage. I also really like that the bosses are seamless in the same level.

My one piece of confusion however were with these enemies. You have great hit effects, but when they have the white projectile in front of them you can't see the hit effect. I thought I wasn't doing damage to them when they had the white projectile in front of them and was trying to hit them after they shoot. I was a little frustrated because I felt like I couldn't predict which one was shooting or that I couldn't aim at them. However I then realized you do damage to them all the time. I think if you add a health bar or make the hit effect more obvious when it's covered it'd help with these enemies.
Awesome job!
I will add the hit sound effect in future updates. Thanks for your comment.
A challenging game and very easy to understand controls, i like the bosses too.
the teleportation mechanic is a really good take on the theme, I couldnt beat the central boss though
Press H to heal than you can beat it.
Fun game! You did a great job adding an increasing difficulty curve for the bosses! Good work!
Nice basic game for the limited time you had, I would love the ability to shoot more then just left and right when the boss is spinning all around me.
Simple and entertaining. By the way it would be better to state up arrow is for jumping I have tried to play the game with a thought in mind that "I shouldn't fall down".
Thanks for suggestions.
fun and simplistic game! wish there were more levels and boss fights to discover and maybe some new abilities for the player would be fun!
Cute game! The bosses gets increasingly hard, which I like. I wish there was some way to shoot in other directions, because it is somewhat hard to shoot only horizontally while avoiding projectiles.
The visuals are neat though, great game
I really enjoyed the game and the phase where you are on the spinning platforms was a nice unexpected addition!
Fun! Congratulations on your work
it so good continue
That may sound dumbs, but the I loved the twist between the first and the 2nd boss, where the 'thig that is spinning' is swpped between the player and the boss! Congrats!
I really liked it! I believe that if continued it still has good potential! I understand that the lack of sufficient time was an obstacle in development, but even so it has already managed to demonstrate the potential that its game promises! Congratulations on what was developed in the short period of time, I liked it!
Thanks for your comment.
The first boss felt a little easy. I was barely shot, maybe you could make it target the player from time to time? I was actually going near the shots to see if I could parry and deflect them, that would had been a nice addition. Also, looks like there is some cooldown to the parry, maybe a visual indicator would help. Other than that, very cool entry and aligned with the theme.
Thank for your recommendation.
bummer its incomplete. potential is there :) thanx for sharing!
good game but the theme is spin not shooter 2d
good game but the theme is spin not shooter 2d
Pretty fun little game, nice job dev(s)!! The first boss fight was had a really nice difficulty curve to it and felt challenging while still fun. The minimalistic platforms and backgrounds could have used some more detail but they worked fine in the game and didn't look out of place. The enemies had a really neat sci-fi vibe to them, and the player character is pretty cool looking. There were some nice bits of polish too, like the dust particle effects behind the player for example. I beat the first 3 bosses and had a good time doing so. I wish the spinning platform laser boss (the 4th one) had been completed because it was a really cool concept and the different platform movement for that level was a nice change of pace. For constructive criticism I would say: needs some background music to help with the tone, more detailed backgrounds/platforms, and I wish the defend button blocked attacks from all angles. I never used the defend button because it made more sense to just jump out of the way rather than position myself correctly to face the attack and block it. I enjoyed my playthrough with your game, keep up the good work!!
Thank for sharing your experience. I will make the changes you mentioned.
