Very cool concept. Some sort of tutorial would be nice because it was difficult to understand at first but I eventually caught on to the mechanics. I think I would also recommend adding some indicator for when the game would end because a few times the game ended before being able to start my revolution. But the concept for the jam is very unique, good work!

Pretty cool game, wished there was a tutorial or infomation sheet in the begining I was just randomly placing and hoping for the best but I like the concept and the art was really good, great job!
Hey! This is a cool game! I definitely would've benefited from a tutorial because at the beginning I felt like I was randomly placing people on cards hoping for things to happen. Overall nice concept though, great job!
This is a lot of game to design and make work in just seven days! I'm really impressed. I love hidden role games and I am looking forward to your improvements!
I think what would improve this game the most aside from a tutorial is make the cards a bit easier to stack, and more clarity between types. I'd increase the hitbox size so it's easier to drag one card on top of another, and add a highlight effect to the card you're stacking on top of so the player has a visual feedback for when they can release a card and it will place. I had a hard time telling the card types apart until I noticed the tasks had a progress bar at the top. I'd probably make people have one background color and the tasks a different background color to start.
Amazing job!
As others have mentioned, the start was pretty confusing, and it took a bit of figuring out. I like the music/ambience and the concept. Overall, solid entry!
I liked the idea as I find these kinds of games super intriguing even if I'm terrible at them. I don't have any specific feedback that others haven't already offered but I think overall it was solid work. Congrats and good luck!!
Just like others had said, an in game tutorial would've been nice. But after reading through the text and messing around a bit, I was able to figure out how to play it. And well, it was a pretty fun experience I'd say, and I enjoyed just spamming the recruit people card which probably wasn't the best choice lol. More ways you could improve this game would be for sure, a start menu, and some SFX.
The fonts of the card are a little hard to read.
The card's rank is confusing at first a square color and size are too small to noticed the difference.
It would be great if there were a way to tell which one is a spy, I got 1257 spy reports overnight.
Overall, great job!
Really cool game! The idea felt original, and the art was great. I just missed a small in-game tutorial to understand the objectives and mechanics more quickly. But overall, I enjoyed it. Good job!
Very interesting concept but very confunsing.
First, trasnform the trash and kill cards into something else. They aren't cards, they are a delete button. Make it obvious that they are special.
The people should have a distinction when they are already promoted.
And make the people and plans more visually distinct too, with to many cards its hard to tell quickly.
With a well made tutorial this game could be expanded a lot, it's very fun to play once you figure it out!
Thanks for all the feedback! Most of this is already in the plans for a post-jam update, the exception being the trash and kill cards, guess I should look into that!
The promotion distinction is shown by the yellow bars on the card itself, same with the promotion requirement of task cards. This is explained in the WIP tutorial.
Thanks again for the detailed feedback! Really happy to get more constructive criticism!
It was a little confusing at the start, a littlee in game tutorial would be so helpful but once i understand how to play it was so much fun! I loved how it has a different gameplay than other games. And my only feedback to improve is i wish texts was a little bigger sometimes its hard to read them. Nice game tho well done! ♥
REally cool concept! The spyes outplayed me big time haha! it was a little hard to understand in the strat but got the hang of it after a round. great work!
This game is super cool and has a lot of really interesting systems at work. I said it on stream, but once again I really love how moving cards around and stacking them on top of each other feels. The only thing I can think of that would make it even better would maybe be some audio cues? In general, I think there could be more audio cues for a lot of things. I'm sure it would have been something I figured out if I played more, but from my short time playing, I found it really hard to identify spies, especially when I end up with a lot of people. Awesome work!
Thanks for sharing with my stream! Here's the VOD of your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2252858600?t=02h48m53s
Thanks for staying up to watch. Sorry for ruining your sleep schedule 🙏
I really see a lot of potential for this game! It was hard to get started but easier once I knew the mechanics. I wish there was a task where I could see if someone was not a spy. I think a little fine tuning on the UI for your resources post jam would be super fun. Would love to play again!
I like the idea and think that the theme is very good implemented. But I struggle to place the cards on each other. Most of the time the card just placed itself next to in instead of interacting with the card.
Really enjoyed the unique and strategic depth of the game! The card readability could use some tweaks for better clarity, and a more integrated tutorial would make the learning curve less steep. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic concept with impressive systems that kept me engaged. Well done on creating a game with multiple endings and replayability!
The game is very cool! The design is unique and pretty well executed, My strategic brilliance is somewhat lacking at the moment, so I got the axe a couple of times. I'll try again later to see if I can pull off a glorious revolution.
Nevertheless, You've made a wonderful little strategy game.
Well done!
