How does your game fit the theme?
Calm: Peacefully exploring sandwich combinations and building your menu.
Storm: Frantically trying to build sandwiches to fulfill orders while driving through the city at break-neck speeds.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is our own... for better or worse.
Most of the art is our own.

Art was really good! And i liked the concept a lot good job!!
The art mismatch is a bit jarring but otherwise a good addition to the game jam :)
I think you've got a clever little idea here! I think it might be more fun if the sandwich shooting was more aim assisted and the game was more about sniping customer's mouths with delicious sandwich drive-by chuckings. I had to position myself pretty precisely to get sandwiches to people and it slowed my experience down a lot.
Also - you have some absolutely adorable cover art but the assets in game aren't up to that bar which was a little jarring. Would love to see a more polished version that's using that aesthetic some day.
Interesting concept! It took me a while to understand how to sell sandwiches but I figured it out! Throwing out sandwiches is a nice mechanic on the visual side but It creates confusion on the game mechanics side.
I enjoyed while playing the game. Well done!
For your first game, it is very decent and mechanics works well!
Liked the concept of the game a lot. The art could be improved, maybe something simpler, sandwich indicators didn't look well on my screen. The indicators lacked distance, so you ended up driving around trying to guess how close they were. I loved the concept of making your own menu and then going around delivering!!
Thanks so much for playing! Definitely agree with the sandwich indicators, not super practical albeit fun that they are baguettes lol. Will definitely be fine-tuned in the next version of the game.
Glad you enjoyed the concept and building your own sandwiches! :)
art was neat, and the game was pretty fun too. nice work!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for playing!! :D
Such an original idea! I loved making my own sandwiches, it really made the game for me!
Yay! Glad you enjoyed it! That was a must-have for our game, and believe it or not almost didn't make it in! We managed to grind away and add it in on the last day!
Making sandwiches were the most fun part of your game to me, even though most of them was bad and stinky! The game is fun, and the art is cute. Special props to the voiceover thanking my sandwich when I finally hit one right! Good game
Haha thanks! I finally got to love my voice acting dreams hahaha
Interesting idea, but somehow all my sandwiches are stinky... Why?
Haha so they'll be stinky if they're not a valid sandwich. That'll happen if the sandwich isn't fully in the grey prep area, or the ingredients aren't encapsulated by two slices of bread (one on the bottom and one on the top). A sandwich must also have at least one ingredient
Ahhhh two slices of bread... I mean, in Russia we always eating sandwiches with just one slice, so I didn't think about this ;)
Nice art style!
Thanks!! Everything except the city tileset was hand drawn :)
Hey man you have some great visuals here. I like the vibrant colors and the awesome font. I found myself making too many sandwiches before I even figured out that you had to deliver them. I think adding some more polish and a tutorial at the beginning would be really good for this game. Pretty cool game man.
Thanks for playing!!
Adding a tutorial is a good idea :)
Not bad! It's a little confusing at the start, but i can see lots of potential in the loop. There's a few issues, like the lack of a good explanation in the game, the music not looping and mismatch graphics, but with more work this could become a cute fun minigame!
Thanks!! :D
Yeah we don't know what happened with the music. When we play the game locally the music loops fine 🤷.
I agree a tutorial section would be a good add!
Not a bad little game. It was difficult to drive the car as the roads were so narrow. I think the sandwich hit detection could have been more generous. It feels bad when you throw away a good sandwich. All of the customer indicators quickly clog up the screen. I'd recommend just having a minimap show where they are.
Music was great. Some sound effects for putting together the food would have added a nice flavour to it.
Thanks for playing! I definitely agree it feelsbadman when you chuck away a good sammy. I've been debating what the next version of the sandwich indicator would be, and I think a minimap in general would be a good addition, would help with navigating the city.
Thanks for the feedback :)
I like the theme, the truck gave be scoobydoo vibes lol. It took me a bit of time to understand the "shooting" mechanic and I think it could have done without. The on-the-go sandwich truck concept is super cool and fun though!
Thanks for playing! Much appreciated :)
Very cozy game, loved the ska music! i've invented some sandwiches and really enjoyed. Keep it up!
Haha awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! We tried some other tunes for the driving section but Ska just felt so right haha. Cheers! :)
really cute idea, fits the theme well. giving pov driving controls to a topdown car kinda made it wonky, but maybe that adds to the hectic aspect of it.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Much appreciated :)
Hee-ho. Fun game, nice
Thanks!! :D
Really cool game, what I think would make this even more fun would be to introduce coop mode, where one player would drive the car and second would make the food, I can definitely imagine this being challenging as for example Overcooked :D
Thanks for playing!! Definitely agree. You can technically play couch co-op already, with one person controlling the car with WASD and another building sandwiches and throwing them with the mouse :)
Fun game :)
Thanks!! :D
hehe cool idea bro!!:)
Thanks!! :)
