In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to try and harness the chaotic nature of swarms of randomly moving, traitorous summons to destroy the opponent wizard!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

I really like the game overall! The pace could be a little faster but the design is really solid.
Such beautiful animation and spritework! I LOVE it! The core loop is very simple and appears to have some really cool interactions you can have with it. Well done :)
The werewolf and imps felt a little too tame in variations on enemies. I would have loved to see something that moved differently, like a guy that moved twice, or a flying unit that ignored unit collision. I think the pace was a little slow for my liking for a game jam. I think you could have gotten away with one level per new summon and had people asking for more instead of (probably only me) thinking there was a bit too much. Sorry, that's a weird gripe for a jam. :P
The need to escape after the chaos you cause was a bit frustrating at first, but adds a bit deal more threat to the situation. One strategy might be to overwhelm but then you might have a tough time escaping. It'd be especially fiendish to make the door spawn under where the enemy died lol.
Great work on this! Excellent entry!
thanks, youre probably right that i could have made a shorter experience for a gamejam so people would get to finish the whole thing, but i aimed this time to make as much content as i could. but i understand this is probably exhausting for someone trying to review a bunch of games!
Ill definitely try and make cooler units when i continue! im glad that you got the payoff for summoning a ton of units and then having to deal with it when it comes to leaving the level- and i tried making the door spawn as far away as possible before but it felt too sadistic, so i ended up moving it a set distance away instead haha. thanks again for taking the time for the detailed review and play
I love your spritework. I just checked out your deeper and deeper entry, too. this stuff is wonderful and makes me want to be that good!
the deeper and deeper artwork is actually not mine, theyre made by https://twitter.com/BlorengeRhymes :) but thanks i appreciate it, ill check yours out later
Loved the music, graphics and the concept, however... I couldn't get past the tutorial because I got killed constantly by the zombies I was told to summon and it got frustrating really fast. Also, the controls needed to be a bit more responsive for my tastes.
I feel like I was punished for following the tutorial :(.
I really like the idea though, keep working on this.
Great gamee!! i spent almost 2 hours playing, really impressed on how much enjoyed. a really good work :)
wow, thanks for spending so much time on it, that means a lot
This game was very fun to play I'm surprised you managed to add all those different units in such a constricted time. Really good job, this game fit the theme very well. Could've used sound effects though.
Great game!!! I really enjoyed playing it, the music was fantastic and the different characters made the game cooler. Good job
Extremely interesting game design. It really gets tough over time. Nice!
Very cool and interesting strategy game. Kinda feels like playing pool, but with 3 zombies at the same time lol. Dying after the fight and having to redo it can be a bit annoying tough. The graphics look amazing!
Amazing game! Really fun to play and can get really chaotic pretty easily. The fact that you basically spawn the source of all the chaos in order to manipulate a fraction of that source makes it fit the theme perfectly.
Missing some sound effects and sometimes casting spells is kinda wonky but otherwise this is fantastic
Among all the action games in this jam a strategy game was a breath of freash air for sure
nice game, good job
outrageously good
Amazing idea! I loved every second of it. Graphics spot on!
Great concept, fantastic execution! This game is super fun and the graphics are on point. This could totally be made into a steam game. See you in the finalists!
Wow, thanks a lot. I would love to continue it a bit further now that the jam is over :)
I really enjoyed this one. Your graphics fit the game well and it was fun to play! Some audio design would make this amazing and really help communicate to the player what’s going on. Nice work and good luck :)
Thank you, I wish I had time to add some sound effects but it was that or check bugs in the last day! WIll definitely add in the future
Love the concept of the game, could been better executed tho. some sound and visual effect wouldnt hurt. Maybe make the player move automatically to the exit once all enemies are killed. Still, good game!
Would be awesome if you could play & rate my game aswell! Thank you, tiimo :3
Thanks, part of the whole premise is that you need to deal with the repercussions of the enemies you spawned hence why you have to get to the exit past your swarm once you defeated the opponent. I will check it when I can!
Loved the concept and the way the theme was perceived along with the graphics and game design! Though, maybe you should have included more audio
Incredibly well-made game, and surprisingly difficult and nuanced for a game jam strategy game. My only minor complaints were that the UI lacked sufficient feedback, and that the lack of SFX made the payoff of strategizing underwhelming. Overall, solid contender for the throne.
awesome game had my brain working
Greate game! Everything gets a 4 or 5 star from me except for audio, the game could have benefited from more music and sound effects
