Game description
A very short adventure game with multiple endings and secrets.
Explore a ghost town's abandoned school, and try to understand what happened to the inhabitants.

Discover the truth, but at your own risk... Some secrets are best left alone, and as they say, "curiosity killed the cat".

Theme interpretation
Story-wise, it's about uncovering the secrets of a ghost town, and how dangerous they are.
Gameplay-wise, it's a game with hidden passages, secret endings and hidden interactions.

You are such a talented artist -- the game was beautiful and very polished. Got ending 4/4 my first run, definitely going back to find the others!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Wow, congratulations, t's the trickiest ending to get!
(Your game was very fun and weird, I liked it! )

Really great game! Loved all of it and went back to get all endings, it was really enjoyable.
(as a little note the game crashed when inspecting the hidden tile and clicking on "ignore", but like, that's a non issue, the game is awesome!!!)

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for reporting the problem, I'll fix it!

Great story! I didn't know about RenPy before but it looks like a solid engine. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!
I'm still discovering Renpy, but I rather like it! It's very easy to use, but it's only useful in the production of narrative games, and is pretty limited otherwise.

Great point and click game! The art and atmosphere where very nicely done!

Thank you very much!

I survived! 2/4.dogs eat blue flowers, then we eat dogs, it sounds interesting.

I like dogs!Anyone who eats puppies is a bad person!

The numerical changes in the lower left corner make the entire game process interesting.Thank you for designing this fun secret room game.

Developer

Congratulations on your survival, and thank you very much!

I also love dogs, I made this game to scare myself.
Thank you a lot for playing, and for your comment!

Awesome game! I absolutely loved the design of the wolf—it was fantastic. The environment design feels incredibly innovative, and the pixelated loading screen is such a unique and creative touch. Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your kind comment, I'm glad you like the game!
Actually the pixelated transitions are not intentional, and are just the game engine's optimized way of loading images in web builds haha, it's not supposed to show up like that (but I'm happy you liked i!)

The Art style, The Story & The Music all of it synchronized to create a great experience. It felt simple but well executed. I think the there was some load time issue with the sprites but guess thats on the engine. Well Done

Developer

Thank you very much!
Yes, the web version displays the images a bit awkwardly (but the download version doesn't have this problem).

The moment I launched the game, the menu music hit me with an intense Silent Hill 2 flashback—I spent a couple of minutes just trying to collect myself. (It was powerful, but not fair... I love you for it.) On the whole, the game feels like a meticulously crafted RPG-survival experience (if such a term even exists). As for the "Secrets" theme, it’s so brilliantly executed that it’s obvious from the very first seconds. Gorgeous—and very familiar—music, stunning visuals and setting, an excellent concept, and a mysterious narrative = damn, this is objectively amazing!

Developer

WOW, your comment is so nice, I'm blushing!
I'm super happy to hear you liked the game that much. Silent Hill is a series I like very much, I definitely took inspiration, and I'm glad you felt the vibe I was going for.
Thank you a lot for taking the time to play the game and to post this great comment!

Wow, got ending 2/4. Was one piece of info shy. Anyway, beat the dog guy to death with my fists. This girl is having one strange morning, though I like to think she just leaves to get coffee afterward. I like the risk and reward mechanics based on your stats, and the way the physical or psychological events can play out kinda reminds me of disco elysium. The artwork is good, but you probably already know that. It's a very visual game. Thank you for us play your game!

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot, your comment goes to my heart! Haha, she deserves a nice coffee after all that!

Loved it it reminds me of some flash games

Very cool game, and actually follows the "secrets" theme, as it as mechanic of how much secrets you uncovered on the run. Could only get two endings, as I tried to take hits to both hp and sanity, but I didnt even manage to die while trying twice. Also found the blue door, but no idea how to get any of the stars.

Developer

Thank you a lot! Glad you enjoyed my take on the theme! I don't know how to use spoiler text on itchio, so I can answer you (for now!), but thanks again for trying out the game!

I just tried your game, it was pretty cool; I especially liked the characters, design-wise and in the writing!

Very, very nice art. The story was neat, although I didn't fully understand it. The leitmotifs for the blue guy was cool.

Nice submission.

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
Just tested and rated your game, it was pretty fun!

Very high quality game! Excellent graphics, atmospheric audio, well developed story line and user friendly UI. I particularly appreciate the white spots highlighting clickables, as knowing where to click in adventure games can be frustrating, so thanks!

Developer(+1)

Hey, thanks a lot! All you kinds words go straight to my heart!
Haha yeah, clicking around can be such a headache!

The twist was amazing! The art and music were next level.

Developer

Thank you very much, I'm very happy to hear it!

Your game is really cool too, I liked the mix of dialogues and mini-games!

Submitted(+1)

Simply fantastic! It's cool to see a Ren'Py game that doesn't have the usual vn format

Developer(+1)

Thank you a lot!
Just tested your game, it's super fun!

The art looks really good!  Paired well with your background music and sound effects.

I feel the gameplay was simple and really let you focus on the art, writing, audio.

The path felt very linear, if there were more choices throughout the gameplay I would have gotten more of an urge to replay to try those other paths.

Great game!

Developer

Thank you very much!
I agree: I would have liked to put more different paths, but I ran out of time for that. I had to restrict myself to one hidden branching off, and a few endings based on interactions on the same path. Thanks for your feedbacks, and thanks for testing out the game!
