Really loved the Mona Lisa!  Would have liked some keyboard shortcuts for the 3 paintings.  Felt like I couldn't place them fast enough at the end.  Well done :)

Nice! This was a LOT of fun, and I really enjoyed playing another AI-themed game. The battling-with-art idea was really inspiring. I was not expecting a TD game after that intro, but then I was like "Awesome!" and felt so powerful whipping up paintings from that single canvas to take the fight to the AIs. Well done!

Love the title haha, great work!

Fun once it gets going, like Bloons! Nice submission!

Great intro, awesome concept and very fun!! Some upgrades and more paintings would be awesome. I loved it!

Very dramatic intro, i really liked this game. I can see this being something i will go back and play a good bit great job.

Loved the intro sequence & it all felt super cohesive :) on several playthroughs it quickly became a little overwhelming and not really sure if there would have been a tactic to keep going for longer. Could also be interesting to add waves to be able to better document progress. This was great though, thank you for creating it!

Opening is brilliant, gameplay is really fun! Would love to see more variety of enemies and paintings if you kept developing.

What a fun concept. I've never loved The Mona Lisa more :)

Great Work!

Haha! The intro gave me a good laugh 😂! The gameplay is really fun and I particularly like the animations from the artwork - Mona Lisa is brilliant!

Nice job with this. Looks nice, feels nice, just enough of a story to add something. Art pieces being towers is a fun twist. I would've liked to have had a better idea of what each one did, had to die the first try figuring it out.  Not having a description can work, but it should feel pretty intuitive if you do which is hard with art pieces. The end was so fast I made money faster than I could spend it but that's kind of fun so fair enough.

Nice game that got my perfect scores!

It'd be nice to be able to build towers quickly without zooming in and out that much, but I get why it's like this.

The overall premise is great. This raised the concerns of AI rather well. Well we might need to do something more drastic if the world is really moving that way though.

Great game and unique take on the theme, well done!

Silly, funny, amazing premise. Mechanis a bit simple but I lauged a ton seeing mona lisas eating robots :D Managed to win on second attempt. 10/10 from me.

This game is both more accurate and more scary than Terminator. Perfect exacution of an idea. It is really cool that art that stands up for human creativity is actually creative! Also I learned that "Drawing Hands" by Maurits Cornelis Escher is one of the most proficient weapons of destruction.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I love Escher so much that I wanted to give him something powerful 🙃The aoe is always the backbone of these games, so I wanted him to have the aoe.

Amazing idea! Great intro, very interesting story and application. Mona Lisa overpowered, in a good way, it allowed me to beat the game. :D

I would have liked an option to upgrade the paintings, and to be able to see their radius. I also found it a little clunky when the level got hectic and I was trying to buy and place paintings quickly, maybe an option to click on an existing painting and duplicate it rather than going to the easel every time (or even for the easel to not have the zoom every time) would have made it a little smoother. Overall though it was a great game and I really enjoyed playing it!

Thanks! Range indicator was the next feature that I just didn't have the time to implement. I do agree it feels lacking without it. Tower upgrades were also planned. I wanted Mona Lisa to upgrade into Botero's Fat Mona Lisa lol I might update it after the jam reviews are over. I agree it feels clunky to have to go back to the art stand, not sure what the best solution would be, I'd have to test out different things and see how they feel.
