Wasn't expecting to scream during this jam, but you actually made a game that was legitimately terrifying! Great job.
Personally love hold actions over mash actions (yay accessibility!!) but also didn't realize that was the case at first

Awesome game, super complete, it made me feel anxious with the lights going out and having to find more oil, etc, and all the animations are great, the enemies are super scary. Great great work.
Cannot stress enough how much I love the enemy reactions. The way they'll sit there for a second and make you question what's about to happen, followed by that exaggerated stretch of the mouth, it all fit together perfectly. Great job!

I think you guys did a really good job making this game! I love the art, music, sound effects, though I feel like instead of brightening my lamp I would have liked a dash.
This is a very cool game. It looks beautiful, sounds great, and plays smoothly. I love the scary-but-cute aesthetic, and even though I lost the game, I didn’t mind running into the monsters because they’re all unique and very well designed. When I actually tried to reach my quota, the light dilemma became clear—lamp oil is scarce, and you have to make a tough choice. Very interesting! Overall, I enjoyed playing this game a lot.

Yeah, well, that was spooky! It was also fun to play, and it felt fair. A good variety of ghosts and apparitions, and I believe they all had different behaviours, which was cool. I kept falling for the one jumping outta the ground -_-
Very fitting sound design; I especially liked the theme slowing down and getting darker when "it began".
