Very nice platformer prototype. The movement feels really fluid and the dashing is very fun to use. I managed to get to the top of the demo world cuz I had to read what that sign said lol. I think some fx on screen, like some speed lines or whatever they're called, when you're dashing would be nice, especially to help with pulling off the boost dash mechanic from the ground. Great job on this!
Love your mechanics! The game feels very fluid already. The dash boost mechanic is also neat. This game has a lot of potential to be a great platformer, possibly even a Steam game if you put in the effort.
Got your video on my YT recommended! Really interesting concept and great execution. I also really like the graphic style of the game. It has this certain feeling to it that I think really fits the game. I would love to see more of this!
Very well done and polished character controller.
I like the game! The only thing I would adjust is that "horizontal bar" since it's either in the way or not visable. I didn't really use it
This is a dope character controller. I think it would be a great game! The only thing I would add is that it's hard to tell when I'm dashing. The effect for indicating this could be more noticable.
Unfortunately, I can't get this to play in the browser. I keep getting this error message: "WebGL context lost, please reload the page"
Neat! I like the boost-dash concept. Could benefit from some coyote time, but otherwise well done
Took some practice but I was able to get to the end of the tutorial. This was fun and can see this concept going pretty far.
I plan to further implement the system that removes friction after a dash boost, and separate the tutorial into two sections, and advanced and basic mechanics. Thanks for playing!
I enjoyed the game, even though I wasn't able to get very high.
Yeah I didn't make it very easy, as I didn't really have time to work on the overworld.
Just like that game journalist, I can't finish the tutorial ((
But I like the idea !
