Love the hand-drawn look! It's super cute. I like the idea of bringing color back to a colorless place, too. Good job.
Super cute game - I greatly enjoyed its pace and story. Really hope that you continue on this because it's lovely and a breath of fresh air. The artwork and music complement each other very well too. Fantastic work :)
I can see two mechanics at play here, I think you covered the theme of the round. Beyond that, the art and story are absolutely beautiful. Well done all around.
Hey good job at making your first completely own game! I hope you will continue doing even more things because this one (even as just a simple prototype) was really cute and wholesome ^^
Now that the game is working, it is an artsy game. The game itself is short and simple, but the art style does most of the heavy lifting. Now just more areas, interactions or something completely different and it could stand on its own. Also The giant is real.
I LOVE YOUR ART OMG
sorry for the caps..
i love your take on this im assuming the core is to collect items and to support that and progress you give the food to the animals and when you give them food they are coloured giving a sense that they're happy now
pretty simple idea but well executed as a prototype this is great
i'd love to see this being developed further
oh yeah btw a random thing happen where the characters leg went so big after i put the berries down near the bushi jumped thought the girl went giant mode 😭
This game is so cute omg I can't handle it. I really enjoyed feeding the animals their respective foods and would love to see more added to the game, or really any game you make with your art style it is so adorable I love it. Great work on this!
I really like your art style and even though this was a very simple game, you managed to add a lot of personality to it, which is something a lot of devs (including myself) seems to struggle with. The game itself was very intuitive and easy to progress.
Keep it up. You have a lot of potential. ( ̄ー ̄)b
just a warning for anyone who would like to play!: i didn't have enough time to figure out how to make the game end properly, so if you help all 3 animals, you've completed it! ♡
Such a cute art-style. I would love to see more games like this!
This game is such a cozy vibe! Seeing as this is your first game jam, I'm giving you a follow. I can tell that you're going places in the future. Can't wait to see what happens next!
I really went out of my way to try and play this game, but everything I could come up with failed. Download gamemaker and the file throws a million errors, not even the yyp fixer works as it isn't a "valid project". Can't really give a rating without having even touched the game itself, a shame honestly.
i am so sorry for that, like i posted in the comments, i am completely new to this haha! it should be all fixed and good to download now! ♡
sorry for needing to download weird! I'm just an artist and this is the first time I've made a game, so I did the best I could (for now!!) ♡♡
hoping to expand on the ideas i had for this game as GDKO continues!
