Very cool idea and polished game, it feels really good to control the paddle and shoot at the ball. As an Arkanoid lover, I approve! Great job!!

Really cute game, nicely polished. Excellent job!

I do like cozy vibes of this game, it really has very decent quality, both art, sounds and even itch page design!

Sweet game :) Both the art and music is cute and well made, and the player gets a nice introduction to the game mechanics. Sometimes the ball would go back and forth between the walls for quite a while before coming back to reach the paddle, but that's the only issue I ever ran into. Good job!

Fun! I like the push-your-luck style of play.  I also like the cute "partners in life" personification of the game components. Well done

Nice game!

Feels polished, but I don't understand the loosing rules... It felt that I should have lost the game multiple times but I just got another tries.

Good job anyway, really good submission for the jam!

Really well designed and fun gameplay loop! The whole game is very pretty and polished. I love the paddle animations and the title pun!

Nice artstyle and music! :)
Got a bug where the ball got stuck to the x-position of the paddle though :-/
But good job overall!

Saw this on the GMTK live stream, really love the concept and was fun to play. The UI and character sprites changing are really helpful for knowing how damaged you are and how much damage the ball will do

Pretty cool idea, and who doesn't like a good breakout game? Theming was pretty nice. Gameplay was pretty buggy, unfortunately, but with a little more polish on the technical side, I could see this turning into a fun game!

Very nice game, art and style. The only issue that sensitivity was extreme. Barely touching the arrow keys sent the  paddle flying to the other edge immediately. Implement a mouse movement and it would be even better. Well done nonetheless.

I really enjoyed the cute art style and music, the game was also a lot of fun to play

The art is very cutesy and the concept of the ball getting “angry” but calming down with love also matches a lot with it. I really liked the entire art direction of it.

I loved the twist on this classic game!

Neat take on breakout, very polished! I do kinda wish there was a bit more pushback on the player, but that's about it, the game's really good!
