This one is a gem. Love the grid when moving the platformer; very simple addition to increase the experience but not many have thought about. Love that players' can have many ways to experience and complete the level. Good job for the game!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The speed selector is a godsend and I really love the grid effect, it's a really neat compromise that keeps the practicality of the grid but lets the art still look nice. Nice work!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Very cool game had a lot of fun completing the puzzles. I also like the speed selector it makes iteration on the puzzle way easier.

Thank you for playing :)

Cool idea! It's a very 'programmer'-y type game, which (weirdly enough for a programmer) is usually not my cup of tea. But what's important, you made it readable and posed clear challenges. Well done!

Developer

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing :D

A lovely game, I especially like the speed selector and the grid outline when you move the cursor, it feels really good to play. Props for another game about a robot climbing a mountain - great minds think alike, well done! :)

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it! I will have to check out Monty's Mountain - we even used a similar naming pattern 😆

Cozy little puzzle game ! I am grateful for the speed scale because waiting for the robot would have been quite a chore ! The grid placement feel good

Cool idea! The puzzles are interesting. I wish the speed setting would stay where I put it instead of resetting every level. But other than that it was fun!

Developer

I think I will change that after the jam, it wouldn't be too hard. Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed!

I love this game, such a thinky little puzzle game, I really enjoyed playing. I'm not sure where the scaling theme is, unless it's climbing the mountain? Great game though, very polished!

Developer (1 edit)

Yes, it fits the theme because you are "building" the mountain for the robot "to scale". Thanks for playing :D

when im the culture minister for the uk and i get interviewed alongside "lil' Greta" and "Microplasticiel the rapper" by Nardwuars robot clone on live VRTV, Nard is gonna pull up the alignment chart and ask me if i still feel its "wierd" and "radical" to fuck aliens while i sweat in front of a crowd of 50% humans and 50% grimbos from grorgle.

Developer

Wow, thanks for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it. Thanks for playing :D

Very enjoyable submission! I like the name of the robot 😎

Well polished, very easy to pick up and play.

My only complaint is that the fitting of the theme is a little tenuous.

(+1)

tenuoos not a word ;)

Developer

Glad you got the name reference 😉. A friend mentioned to me that you could also consider the game fitting the theme because you are "building" the mountain, for the robot to "scale"!

The gif at the start was a little laggy but cool concept!

Developer

Hope you were still able to figure out how to play. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah it was pretty self explanatory. Reminds me of a game i used to play back in middle school it class

Dude I love block-based puzzle games where you drag around objects to help a small robot with a blue screen face reach the end
In all seriousness though, this game is pretty cool, reminds me a lot of Baba is You, but with a character that you can't control. I will say that it'd be nice to have the character draw their path out in a line on the screen, so that after they explode you can see the exact route they took without having to press Go again. Good game though, definitely has a lot of potential!

Funny that we had parallel thinking about the theme! I wonder if there are any other box-placing-robot-helping-like games in the jam... Anyway thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed :)
